Programmed CIA dude story

I was helping my girlfriend's friend's husband fix his computer over the weekend. It took a while and we got to talking about different things. He told me this story about his wife's cousin whom he was talking with at a funeral a while back that is allegedly high up in clearance working for the CIA. The guy was talking about some implant thing that supposedly cures all diseases, blah, blah. You know, skirting around classified info. Well, they started probing him for more info and as he was revealing more, the CIA guy suddenly said "turkey, turkey" really fast and that was it. He shut down. Totally unresponsive. Man, that was funny. I said well, at least you can invite him over for Thanksgiving and poke at him some more...LOL

Uhm, okay, so this is a story by the cousin of the husband of a friend of your girlfriend??

That inspires a lot of confidence in the story.

Actually, it does. It was one of those genuine little moments you run across where you meet someone new and start blabbing about stuff and you get a funny little story out of nowhere. My GF is very close to this couple and has known them for 17 years. The guy was genuinely flumoxed about it. It really seemed to strike him as a real event that the guy shutdown. And no, this guy I was talking with is not into conspiracy, UFO's secret gov't stuff or anything like that. He's a construction worker that can't even figure out how to fix a PC. For him, it was just one of his story of life playing cards to throw out and try and make some interesting conversation. So, yes, it's true. Furthermore, after we got his PC fixed, I brought it up in front of his wife and she verified that her cousin was deep CIA and her husband had met him at a family funeral several months ago. FWIW.

I just want to note a couple of things here. My impression is this: This CIA guy probably doesn't get out much. He goes to a family funeral and encounters some "average Joes". He has a couple of drinks at the wake and starts shootin' the bull. He reveals some stuff using language. When some of that language is repeated back to him in the course of the conversation, it triggers a shut down. That's my take on what happened.
