Whilst at the markets today, where I go every Sunday morning for breakfast while my 2 year old son runs around the play gym and dances to the local music I noticed a very small stall with some interesting slogans. SO I approach the guy and he is selling these paperweight looking objects that he says are made of black sand, copper filings, brass bubbles and some other filings. He proposes that these things will turn the harmful frequencies into positive 'chi waves'.
He also said that he had buried deposits of these articles near all the phone towers around Darwin so that we couldn't be taken over by mind control and that as a relief teacher he has done random tests on his pupils and seen some positive benefits of placing these 'paperweights' near wifi devices ie laptops, mobile phones.
He spoke of chem trails, HAARP, phone towers and such.
Anyways, I bought a couple of his products, one to stick on the back of my cell phone to reduce the noise, one for the EM waves in our house and one to put in our meter box to reduce electricity consumption.
I will go and get the piece of info he had for me that I left in the car regarding all of this.. but in the meantime, does it sound kosher to you??
I gave him the SOTT website details and offered for him to check out the articles. I will check back with this next weekend (pending his presence) and see what he thought.

I would have walked away at that point.

I'm not sure that those objects have any real effect on EM, but I'm betting that turning them into "positive chi waves" is mostly wishful thinking. If you want protection from EM, the best way is to be on The Diet and do EE to strengthen and clear your body and mind.

You've come across a small part of what's actually a quite large underground movement based around Wilhelm Reich's theory of Orgone. I've been quite fascinated by the whole thing and have been reading up on it for some time. I'm in two minds about the whole thing.

Wilhelm Reich (_http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wilhelm_Reich) was hounded and persecuted to such an extreme degree towards the end of his life that it's almost certain that he really did discover something quite important, although it goes without saying that the current Orgonite community is clueless to what exactly he discovered; they just seem to me to be people playing around with something they don't understand.

My take on the whole issue: we on this forum know from Marciniak, Rueckert and Knight-Zadcyk that despite all our physics, relativity theory and quantum mechanics, there is a LOT about light, magnetism and EM that we don't understand. One thing that crops up again and again is the fact that light and EM are not purely mechanical effects but also have a kind of organic and intelligent aspect to them. Looked at from this angle, it does make sense that someone would at some point uncover the truth about our close links with 'intelligent energy' and would start formalising some basic rules about this interaction and it would also make all kinds of sense that STS would violently suppress such an endeavor, burn the books that recorded it and so break the spirit of the discoverer that he died in prison, alone and peniless. I actually believe that Wilhelm Reich was right on the money. For example, his idea that Orgone was intimately connected with sexual energy is very close to what Ra, The Pleidians and the Cassies have been saying for years. Interesting aside: that lovely Kate Bush song 'Cloudbusting' "describes psychologist Wilhelm Reich's arrest and imprisonment through the eyes of his young son, Peter." [Wikipedia]

Through Google you will find many other people who've conducted the same experiment and achieved the similar weird results. But the question is, even if the Orgone effect is real, is it significant? Does it help us with the Work? Can we live without Holy Hand Grenades, Cloud Busters and Pucks lying around the house? Maybe we would be playing around with a real but unknown effect, actually making things worse but not being able to tell the difference because we don't have enough information?

I´ve made an interesting experience with a group which stands up against cell phone masts and radiation near housing areas. For two years a big corporation had put a cell phone masts directly in front
of our noses ( I work in this village) all neighbours were very upset cause of
the radiation…..the big corporation naturally said there is no problem everything is alright, the radiation in homeopathic doses causes no health problems etc., so
the people here created a local foundation against mobile radiation, with lectures, information material etc, they bought
a instrument to measure the radiation. One day they came into our office an measured the radiation ( this time I have had an portable telephone) and the
instrument showed a very high amplitude, after we removed the radiation sources, the amplitude was a lot lower ( I am not sure how correct these instruments are, but to see this
with your own eyes is very alarming).

Now some neighbours have build big wood frames with rabbit wire in their gardens, and also make the rabbit wire (finely woven wire) between their walls, first I found this totally strange, but interestingly after this protection arrangements the instruments shows 80 % lower radiation then without the rabbit wire, so it seems to me there are some arrangements which can minimize the radiation, but I think it is not possible to avoid the radiation completely. I am no scientist nor I am an expert in this field but this statement : “ He proposes that these things will turn the harmful frequencies into positive 'chi waves'.” I find more strange than rabbit wire. ;)

If you want protection from EM, the best way is to be on The Diet and do EE to strengthen and clear your body and mind.

and maybe some adjustments at home are a good protection .

Actually, the rabbit wire thing is a well-known effect (and yes, it does sound strange . If you cover an area in metal mesh (rabbit wire) and run a small voltage through the mesh, you will get a Faraday Cage (_http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Faraday_cage) which effectively blocks all EM. Not sure if the same effect could be obtained with just rabbit wire though, i.e. without the low voltage but I'd guess it would at least diminish the EM. So these people were not as far out as it sounds.

What I find interesting here is how little people trust what the scientists and companies tell them and how they will try and find their own solutions (kooky or not) to a problem that they know is there even though they are told that they are worrying unnecessarily.

It's funny but completely apart from any scientific interest, I keep coming back to the story of Wilhelm Reich because it is such a heartbreaking one. From all accounts he sounds like he was a wonderful man, one I'd have loved to have met and learned from. Another one was Viktor Schauberger (_http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Viktor_Schauberger)

In fact, I believe that these two men, with their love of nature and the belief that Science could incorporate love and compassion actually discovered two different aspects of the same thing. Reich was a psychologist so he discovered the human aspect of 'intelligent energy' while Schauberger was an engineer so he discovered it's mechanical aspect. Both men ground down and destroyed for wanting to empower the human race... sad.

I think the crazy stories about Orgonite pieces by the Etheric Warriors are pretty much just that: crazy stories. Basically, it's something to keep people busy to have them think they're making a difference, when in reality they're being vectored. Reich never designed anything like the orgonite pieces that the Etheric Warriors construct today. As the link shows, Reich actually built a chamber of sorts to conduct his orgone experiment, not some resin blob with a crystal at the center. I doubt these Orgonite pieces by Don Croft and his gang do much besides make a nice paper weight.

This is probably pretty close to the truth. The same sort of reoccurring mishaps and setbacks plague any serious researchers of paranormal or UFO phenomena too.

Yes, the orgone plant experiments have been replicated by James DeMao, who replicated a number of Reich's original experiments and described them in his book The Orgone Accumulator Handbook. If you work within the context of Reich's original experiments, it appears Reich may have been onto something. But going from boosting plant growth to suddenly canceling the harmful effects of the EM radiation coming from cell-phone towers is quite a stretch in my book! Like I said, the Etheric Warriors are most likely Cointelpro, fwiw.
