It would be interesting to find out if there were any truth to this. Since when do psychopaths actually seek out a psychiatrist?

ha! in this day and age, it's actually pretty hard to tell satire from the truth. much of the daily news might as well be satire (intentional or otherwise). i actually thought for about an hour that this piece was for real:

however, it did ultimately turn out that goldman sachs did dump much of its bp stock in the week leading up to the rig explosion. a friend of mine saw shorts in the market against bp and the rig company too (though he can't trace who shorted those companies).

so perhaps the psychiatrist story will turn out to be read too ;)

Yeah, it may turn out to be real. I would really LIKE for it to be real, not because I want the guy to have committed suicide, but because I would like to have confirmed my assessment of Netanyahu.

This day and time, it really is hard because they are out there spreading so many lies and distortions and half-truths.

What was Yatom's first name?
I found this article mentioning the name Yatom with Netanyahu's name. Danny Yatom resigned as the head of the Mossad in '98.

What was Yatom's first name?

It was Moshe.

It gets weirder (if any of it's true). Another psychiatrist has supposedly commited suicide. Seems like both stories are written By Michael K Smith who writes for the second blog listed below. I'm currently having a hard time believing any of it. There doesn't seem to be an alternate story written about either gentlemen.

Just one week after Benjamin Netanyahu’s psychiatrist Moshe Yatom killed himself in despair over his failure to develop an effective treatment for the Prime Minister, a second psychiatrist suicide has left Israel reeling.

Yigal Peleg, 61, a colleague of Yatom’s who had been treating Defense Minister Ehud Barak for Security Addiction Disorder (SAD), was found dead at his home in Tel Aviv Monday evening from an overdose of Valium.

A suicide note indicated that Yatom’s failure had provoked widespread despair in Israel’s psychiatric community, which fears a therapeutic remedy for doublethink is much more remote than previously believed.
