Quantum Quirks, video edition?

My brother and I happened across this CCTV footage of drivers getting surprised by a buckled highway road supposedly caused by high temperatures. I found myself thinking "it's like The Wave".

It seems the buckle was already there when the video starts. Hard to see what caused it.

Yeah, I've never heard of heat causing a road to buckle like that, although I'm young and not involved in transportation. ;)
