Question about Carlos Castaneda

several days ago i have found on a russian online library the Castaneda's books ,his work i find very interesting but.. i want to ask who have heard or knows his work ,it can be trust ?
I mean,there are interestind ideas in his work but i'm not sure if it can be trust.
I would be very gratefull to all who can help with an answer.
