Question about cloning

The Living Force
When I read the article today about the cloned 911 search dog, I wondered about something.

According to our current understanding, an immortal soul occupies the physical vehicle from birth to death, and then returns to 5th density until its next incarnation.

Okay, so if a person is cloned, although all aspects of the physical vehicle will be an identical match, a different soul will occupy the cloned body. So it's basically a completely different person, like Ewan McGregor's evil clone in the movie The Island.

In the case of these cloned dogs for example, although they're exact physical blueprints of the original, because the bodies are occupied by different souls, they will be completely different in nature and spirit etc.

Is my understanding correct in this regard? Like if a parent loses a child, and have the child cloned, unless it's the soul of the previous child occupying the cloned body, it will be a completely different child (in character).

I tend to think a clone has its own soul as well, and it would have a different life because of the decisions it made on 5th density and its own karmic influences. On the other hand, the soul of the clone must have quite similar characteristics with the original individual, so that the body would be compatible for that soul. Here is a session that might clarify the issue a bit:

Q: (L) So you are saying that particular genetic conditions are a physical reflection of a spiritual orientation? That the soul match itself to the genetics, even if only in potential?
A: Yes, precisely.
Q: (L) So a person's potential for spiritual advancement or unfoldment is, to a great extent, dependent upon their genes?
A: Natural process marries with systematic construct when present.
Q: (L) Well, if that is the case, and the aliens are abducting people and altering their genes, can they not alter the genes
so that higher level souls simply cannot come in?
A: Not incarnative process, natural biological processes

So, I personally think the changes wouldn't be radically different, but probably there wouldn't be memory formations like it was shown in "The Island" or "Godsend".

On a side note, C's said we don't know the complete cloning process, so maybe we are speculating about something that won't make sense to us in this density, this is also a possibility, or so I think.

I hope that helps.
