Hi Agni and Adrian,

Would they be aware to some degree they mimic behavior/emotion ? Are they aware they are "playing games" ?
Psychopaths most certainly know what they are doing. They know at a very early age that they are different and that they do not have emotions nor conscience and are quite proud of it thinking that these two very important items are a hindrance to those who are normal. And, yes, they love playing games, just as a cat loves playing with a mouse.
Narcissists, I think, don't really care if they are different or not. They care only for themselves and how they can get what they want, which is also a quality of psychopaths. So here too, they know that they are playing games to get what they want.

I am very confused about narcissists & psychopaths. I am not even quite sure what the difference is, because to me psychopath seems to be an extreme version of narcissist :o
You bring up a valid point here. The lines tend to blur when it comes to a very severe narcissist and psychopathy to where they do, indeed, seem to overlap, or even be the same animal.
As to how to learn about psychopaths, there are quite a few good books on the subject by some psychologists and you can find them listed in the
recommended books. I suggest starting with In Sheep's Clothing, Sociopath Next Door, Snakes in Suits and Without Conscience. Then you might want to read Political Ponerology. :)

Though from what i understand about OP's ( believing i am one) and after all ive read on this forum and other material (shotw and sott discussions and OP discussions which can be found on the site map if u take a look) they can certainly feel a need for change as i have. The glitches in the system though are, as has been said, incapable of even contemplating the idea. OP's differ because they strive to be like those of souled individuals they just dont know how unless guided and unfortunatly the world we live in at the present time doesnt give us time to think and contemplate what we could hope to be. thats the way i see it anyway.
What you have written here is fairly accurate as it goes for OPs. But you must remember that psychopaths are "failed" OPs. Or at least that is what the Cs have said. Psychopaths do not feel a need for change. They are actually quite content being who and what they are. They do feel contempt for us foolish people who do feel empathy and have a conscience. And they think that these two virtues are nothing more than a hindrance, as I have said above.

I tread very carefully to post on this forum because so many times ive been proven to be wrong by those who post here and are, as i see it( lol dangerous terratory here) are of a souled origin (the SERIOUS POSTER ), and i think of it as a learing curve. Ive had time though, to think about this and OP's,if i am one, which i believe i am, can atleast conprehend the idea of learning what a souled being must feel and what they aspire to be! least thats what im trying to do anyway.
I understand the "being afraid to post because then I can be found to be wrong" thing. Trust me, I know. ;)
However, how do you expect to learn anything about yourself and your thoughts if you do not post?
This forum is one of the best places to really learn about yourself through how others see what you are showing them.
None of us can learn alone! We need the constant help from those who are like-minded and I don't think that you are going to find them anywhere around you, or even on any other forums. So don't stop posting just because you may be wrong. This is how you will learn. I cannot state this strong enough.
As for being an OP, well, who knows. I would dare guess that not everybody that posts here is a potentially souled being. And I would bet that there are some from time to time who are psychopaths, which we have discovered over and over again.
But, the way that I see it is even if I am an OP this is not going to keep me from learning all that I can about myself and learn all I can about the simple lessons here in good old 3d. It may help me in my next life, if there is one. So I am going to keep doing the best I can to learn all that I can to the best of my ability. And if I am an OP - so what! As long as I am on this path, that's all that I am concerned with.
I truly think that to worry about being an OP is a distraction for me at this point. All I need to worry about is learning how to work on myself and seeing as objectively as I can.
Of course, this is all based on what I know at the moment. :)
