Question from a newbie...

The Force is Strong With This One
I am not sure where to post questions:

Hello, I am new here and I have a friend who would like to join. Upon registering the error message came up saying it was spam and they need to contact an admin.

How can they contact an admins.?

Thank you in advanced.

Hi Donnay,

Your question has been passed on to SuperMagicianAdminMrScott. He'll get back to you as soon as he... can. :)

I "think" it could help if you PM Mr. Scott with a forum name of your friend's choice (if you know it that is) and/or your friend's email address so that Mr. Scott can send him/her his/her login data when an account is created. But don't worry, it's always possible to change a forum name, and your friend can get a temporary one.

Thank you for the response. However, I am still not aware of how to PM someone in this forum.

If you click "Send a message" when it appears under the "My Messages" option near the top of the page, you can then enter recipients - in this case, Mr. Scott - in the "New Message" form.

I hope you will pardon my ignorance but I do not have a "My Messages" option. This is what the top of my page looks like:

Sorry for the confusion Donnay. :-[ PM-ing is actually an option which comes when you reach a certain number of posts. I'm pretty sure Mr. Scott will come to the rescue some time soon.

Whew...thank you, I thought it was something right in my face that I was missing. Okay, I will wait to hear from Mr. Scott then.

Edit: Sorry, just realized it was a moderator advice, hope it helps anyway.

It happened to me too when I try to join on the first time, so I sent an email to sott@sott.net with the pseudo, login and password wanted, and it worked very well.
We finally have the choice following answers from above... ;)
