Question Hamankind and the Nature of the Universe

Before I begin this topic...

My understanding on the focus of the forum is 'The Work'. And to practice external consideration and lose self-importance.

Okay, my question begins with Why? Humanity has not fundamentally changed it's path to seek objectivity and learn to be truly aware. Yet here is the proof that this work is being done. And it has made a big difference to me, to you, to so many others who have put in the effort and sacrifice needed to make the darkness conscious. But, why is it that most of us are still walking around oblivious to the danger that surrounds our way of life?

Recently, I've come across a couple of important ideas that have made a lot of sense and are relevant to the times we all live in.

"There is no progress whatever. Everything is just the same as it was thousands, and tens of thousands, of years ago. The outward form changes. The essence does not change. Man remains just the same. ‘Civilized’ and ‘cultured’ people live with exactly the same interests as the most ignorant savages. Modern civilization is based on violence and slavery and fine words" ~Gurdijeff

So, are we as a race destined to be this way? In all our creativity, intelligence, passion, innovation, love, compassion are we doomed to this almost neverending battle to wake up? Does the universe have a plan for humankind?

It is a puzzle wrapped in an even bigger mystery as to why people are not aligned with the higher things in life. Each and everyday there is some story of how someone is going against the ability to think for themselves and see what IS instead of what they believe. Here is another idea about this...

"If somebody has a creative gift and out of laziness, or for some other reason, doesn't use it, that psychic energy turns into sheer poison. The refusal of higher development or higher consciousness is one of the most destructive things there is. It makes people automatically want to pull back everybody else who tries." -Marie Louise von Franz

The way most of civilization has conducted itself has gone the way of ignorance. Wanting to find the easy answers and coasting along with the rest of the blind leading the blind. A feeding mechanism which has been carefully orchestrated to keep the average person without the knowledge that will set him or her free. I can't imagine a better way to attain the human soul than by a long and difficult journey.

I think this planet/density is a school, we just transition through it and move on when we have learned what we need to learn while it remains available for others to come and learn too. Evolution is a personal thing, a result of your own or a network's conscious efforts. A graduating class can't expect the whole school to disappear just because you are ready to move on to something else.

Not to say that this world can't change, but most people are not at the same place in their evolution so each does according to who they are and what is in them to do. Perhaps if acataclysm destroys most of the world, those who are left can build something more objective and conscious in its stead. But otherwise everyone is at a different level all sharing the same school, and we can only change ourselves and help those who
ask. It would be nice to see humanity as a whole grow up, but it's unrealistic.

One reason it's unrealistic is that 50% of humanity may be organic portals, and 6% are psychopaths. The rest are in various stages of ponerization, narcissistic wounding, etc. But if the universe can revive dead coral then who knows what's in store for the near future, maybe a new world?

Hi CelticWarrior,
Have you had the chance to read the Wave series written by Laura? She addresses the questions you have raised and much more there. "The Secret History of the World" would be another book that you may want to look into for these questions. You can read about the Work from many sources, but to my knowledge, no one apart from Laura has really addressed the deeper question of "why things are the way they are".

Yes, all this is addressed in the Wave and Secret History of the World. In short, Celtic Warrior, we are food. It is possible to escape being food, but it takes enormous amounts of Work. I recommend you read these books, it will really help in your understanding of the bigger picture, which will then help you learn how to stop being food.

Yeah, I will look into the Wave series more indepth. The matter of why things are the way they are and escaping being food is the key to answering these questions here; understanding the big picture.

I can understand evolution is a personal thing, and that everyone's all at a different level of the same school, but it's incredibly disturbing to know many people are in fact organic portals and yes even psychopaths have set their roots into the world long ago.

A new world? Hopefully reviving classic esoteric teachings would be a good start (but not realistic). A small group yes.

On my new agenda, staying on course with my own evolution and my network's evolution.

This was tremendously helpful! Thanks for the insights ;)
