Radiation in products from US West Coast?

The Living Force
Vitacost sends supplements from the Los Angeles -- Compton CA -- Las Vegas area. That's US west coast hit by Fukushima radiation. I read about the student measuring significant increase of rads in veggies in his school project on Sott.

Anybody put a Geiger counter to the Vitacost cardboard box with supplements from Vitacost (5-HTP), GABA powder (Source Naturals), Magnesium Malate powder (Natures Life) or products like these arriving in the mail and got measurable radioactivity increase?

Should I be worried? Is it a super stupid idea to order from Vitacost being in US West Coast?

West Coast or US residents here on the forum please would you like to give feedback?

I'm curious about this too. A lot of produce comes from California. I actually bought a Geiger counter to measure radiation in some pens from Japan. The background counts were actually slightly higher than the pens over many hours. I had wiped and washed the pens too.

I got really obsessed with it. And eventually I had to stop measuring and just choose not to put Japanese products, or wash them very well. I also have some Garlic from California in 2012 that I've just kept around and not eaten. I think it matters more for things you'll actually eat.

Some people say to measure every box that comes into your home. But for gosh sakes, I'm already a worry wort! :P I buy a lot of things online too. I think it's easy to get overworked about these things. The C's said that Fukushima was only a little change in an already radiation saturated Earth due to the years of bombings. But I think a little vigilance and knowledge is good too. I'm not sure where the line between over-worrying and being vigilant is.
