A friend of mine recommended a sight this morning that looks REALLY interesting, called Journeys with Rebecca Radio show, hosted by Rebecca Jernigan.

_http://www.journeyswithrebecca.com/archives_09.html

The shows are all cataloged as podcasts, and each of them has a link to the person who is being interviewed.

The show dated August 22, featuring an interview with 'Doc Barham', is VERY interesting and covers the topics of propaganda, mind control and then goes in to the subject of manifestation RE: 'The Secret'. (<----haven't gotten to that part yet.... approaching it with a skeptical but open mind, cuz when I watched 'The Secret' a couple of years ago, it didn't do me a whole lot of good )

Anyway, I wanted to look for more information on this 'Doc Barnum' guy, and find out his full name, credentials and background, etc (He is some kind of a life coach) .... I came across a huge blocking effort. I couldn't get to his webpage!!! Everytime I attempted it, whatever browser I used either came up with a notice that it could not be accessed at this time, or that it was a dangerous sight that could damage my computer. I have a Brilliant security on my computer, and it did not detect any problems. So ... I figure, anything that the 'establishment' doesn't want me to see, has got to be worth checking out. Eventually, when I tried to get back to my e-mail, my computer froze up (still nothing from my security program) ... instinct told me to just shut it down.

Either way, the interview on the podcast of the show is really terrific. I recommend to skip over the first 5 to 10 minutes of adverts.

Sincerely,
Laura T

P.S. I think Rebecca should interview Laura KJ !!!! And throw the SOTT / Cassiopia link on the podcast archive. Yeah!

Doc Barham? Looks like big business with esoteric flavours...
He is "a friend and colleague" of Bill Ryan from "Project Camelot". Also involved: David Wilcock (self professed reincarnation of Edgar Cayce). Example: _http://www.youtube.com/watch?gl=US&v=SVHnmjxBrI0

Dubious!

Lauranimal, if you do a search of the forum on 'Project Camelot', 'David Wilcock' and 'The Secret' - then you'll understand more clearly what transdimensional means by 'dubious'.

Transdimentional:
Ok ... so I went and checked out the link you provided as an example from Project Camelot, but in the context of that interview, I could not see how Doc Barham would be considered a portal of disinfo just because he allowed himself to be interviewed by someone that this forum has determined is COINTELPRO. (I am not disputing what has been discussed). If that line of thinking were to guide us, just out of hand, then think of all of the people that Laura KJ has had to deal with and who she later found out were stinkers? Since she has been in association with such people at one time or another, should someone assume that she is dis-info? (Granted, she gives MARvelous detail into the Theological Realities behind those situations, and her complete transparency has rid her of fleas. Meaning, if you lay down with dogs, you get fleas) On the other hand?... perhaps the good Doc has been co-opted by dirty dogs (even if only temporarily)

I take your point. Approach with caution and don't assume that he is a genuine article/example of integrity in thought, word and deed. So far, I have not really been able to find anything definitive about Doc Barham ... and definitely want to know more. I did find a link to one of his pages here on the Monroe Institute, http://www.monroeinstitute.org/outreach/doc-barham/ with the following information:

Doc Barham, founder and owner of Peak Performance Group, is a professional coach, consultant, speaker, and author. He is a certified clinical hypnotherapist, NLP master practitioner, BCIA certified neurofeedback clinician, NASM certified physical trainer, Reiki master and Chi Gong practitioner. He is also a certified Outreach Facilitator for The Monroe Institute and the Institute Of Heartmath. Doc is a recognized expert and authority on the psychology and methodologies of peak performance for personal, professional, and organizational transformation.
Over the last 15 years, Doc has established an outstanding reputation as a change expert and success coach for high achievers such as Fortune 500 CEO’s, professional athletes, entertainment celebrities, and many more. Doc is also an award-winning speaker and member of the National Speakers Association. He has addressed and positively impacted the lives of more than one million people. He is a regularly featured guest on television and radio programs, and is a frequent contributor of articles for newspapers, magazines and websites around the world.

And I did a search on our forum for the Monroe Institute, and didn't really find anything bad. They actually look pretty interesting and maybe worthy of further investigation to determine if they ARE what they appear to be.

After listening to Rebecca Jernigan's Radio show / interview with Doc Barham, I found it to be very solid. There was no attempt to brainwash, manipulate or steer the listener toward any particular 'interest'. The focus was completely in sync with the C's material and Laura KJ's analysis of it. IMO ...

... He started by outlining how our exposure to propaganda and mind-control techniques by the media and politicians, etc .... can get inside of our defenses. How to become aware of it, and then he gave very concrete and helpful steps, tools and exercises to facilitate deprogramming and empowering the self for the express purpose of being able to be in a better position not only to be more whole, but to be of service to others. I found it very helpful.

Only one part that I hold a certain degree of skepticism about, is when he mentions using Sigil 'Magic' as one possible tool. In terms of it's symbolic significance, it is VERY interesting. It makes some sense when you understand for instance, that Reiki actually utilizes the same idea of an icon or sigil as a point of focus where the sigil has a universal symbolic meaning. In the case of the "sigil magic' mentioned by Barham, it is intended to have a specific and or circumstantial symbolic meaning for the individual. But before I comment further on that, I want to do a little more investigation.

In regard to 'The Secret', he really was only using mention of it as an example of one way that the idea of manifesting or transforming ones life has been presented. Weather the Secret, or any other methodology has been co-opted for nefarious purposes, I could not say. When I watched it a couple of years ago, I found that it was just a little bit too nebulous for me. That being said, Doc Barham very nicely laid out some very simple techniques for developing awareness and the ability to steer ones' own destiny, not in terms of 'wishful' thinking so much consciously planning and visualizing potentials. I thought it was really well done and I highly recommend this podcast.

Thank you for the guidance....

I did this search as you said, but the only article on the forum which has all three is this one that you just posted. I did however skim through some of the posts on Cointelpro about Project Camelot and David Wilcock. I did not see anything that related to Doc Barham, but I will certainly approach anything related to Project Camelot and David Wilcock, with a very critical mind. (if not avoid it entirely)

As for Rebecca Jernigan? Well geeze! I dunno. She is not listed anywhere on our forum and she seemed pretty harmless and just gathering interesting information to re-transmit. Also, I could not find anything on the Doc's "real" name. THAT, gives me pause. Maybe Doc IS his real name, but I doubt it.

Thank you guys for keeping me cautious.

We have to remember that sometimes, getting the word out is iffy at best and even Rich Dolan, knowing the score, went on Bill Ryan's show!

EEEEeeek! Well... it's always a good thing to get more and more of the truth out there, but like you said ... it's iffy and one does not want a nasty case of the fleas!

BTW, I loved Dolan's review of High Strangeness!!! Look forward to picking up that edition.
AND!!! I loved the forward you wrote on Political Ponerology!!! Can't wait till it arrives!
