Rainbow in my dream

I have a very hard time recalling my dreams, but this one has stuck out....dreaming of a beautiful rainbow, in between mountains. I have done some research: meaning of rainbow in dreams

"To see a rainbow in your dream, represents hope, success and good fortune in the form of money, prestige, or fame. The rainbow is a bridge between your earthly, grounded self and the higher, spiritual self."

Does anyone have any thoughts?

According to the book I have 'The Ultimate Dictionary of Dream Language', there is the following:

Rainbow: Others will be acutely aware of your needs and will work to form a strong support system until you are on your feet. You are headed toward a brilliant future and good luck is with you. This cycle will last for 7 days. Move quickly in order to accomplish as much as you can during this time period

Mountain: Grand changes will occur within 5 days that will bring a wonderful experience into your life. Opportunities provide the chance for great riches to come your way. Any one of these you choose will bring you an abundance of prosperity

It was rather a sunny day. I was somewhere in the city close by a street. I was going down (or up) the stairs (it was probably near the library which I often go to). I stopped in the middle of the stairs and I noticed a colorful light at this place and at my hands. So I turned around and looked at the sky. I saw there was a rainbow. That rainbow was beginning (or ending) in the place where I was standing. There was the sun near the rainbow and while I was moving my head I noticed that there was also a second sun which slided from behind the sun. The second sun was black (but not homogenously black). In the dream I thought that it was similar to the eclipse or to a lens flare effect (only it was dark). This was probably for the first time when a rainbow appears in my dreams.

No, rainbows haven't any strong associations to me.

Hi Dreamer. It probably implies a shift from an old paradigm to your new higher self. You shall be given a precious gift. The shift will occur to you and yes, the cycle will be accomplished for 7 days during which time it is advisable to have a support system. It is like having a key to 'unlock' yourself up to the path of Light.

Now, the two suns, you will be given two choices, should you be using your gift toward the Light or back into the abyss of Darkness, i.e Fame, Money, Glory, etc, you know, the Forbidden Fruit of Knowledge. You have to choose wisely. Free will, as always. Because once you step out of that threshold, there is no turning back to your original state of awareness. You have to make a conscious decision. You might have to contemplate on the context of your dream too. That is my own interpretation of your dream, so whatever I said may or may not resonate with you.
