Stuff that's caught my attention outside the usual mayhem:
Should look lovely under the tree.
Funny how when it suits their mutual interest (that they are on the same team is the actuality as opposed to the ruse of being opponents) that the opposition can come together to 'get 'er done'! Time is of the essence, after all, in that there is definitely a possibility the Hildebeast just might not get elected! Her supposed flip-flop on TPP being just another ploy: "Hillary Clinton vowed Thursday to kill the Pacific trade deal that she helped push just a few years ago as President Obama’s top diplomat, hoping to win over wavering liberals and steal some of the anti-trade thunder from Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump." I mean, who can't trust a pathological liar?
Ohio Gov. John Kasich speaks with reporters in the White House Briefing Room. "I think we now have a great opportunity to put country in front of politics," he said.
If they really want to curb infant mortailty, they would be shown the documentary VAXXED. They just might make the connection to SIDS & vaccinations of their newborns even when preemies > The hepatitis B vaccine is given to U.S. infants at birth. “From 2 to 4 months old, babies begin their primary course of vaccinations. This is also the peak age for sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS)."
As the US inches ever closer to all out war w/ Russia, I'm thinking the only thing that will finally get a meaningful reaction from the American population is an interruption in the college/professional football season. Interfere w/ that and Americans will be up in arms!

Stocking stuffer: $2,800 ‘urban warfare’ package
Just in time for early Christmas shopping, the Buckeye Firearms Foundation is raffling off a $2,800 package designed to ward off “hometown terror.” The Tavor is “a compact bullpup rifle designed specifically for modern urban warfare” that’s now “standard issue for the Israeli Defensive Forces.” You also get 500 rounds of 5.56 mm Israeli ammunition and a Spec Ops Cleaning Kit.

Ohio Gov. John Kasich meets President Obama, wants to help him pass Trans Pacific Partnership trade deal
WASHINGTON – Ohio Gov. John Kasich today joined President Barack Obama's effort to push Congress to approve a sweeping Pacific Rim trade deal that has appeared doomed for months. Kasich went so far as to meet with Obama at the White House, then address reporters there on the Trans Pacific Partnership.
Obama is a Democrat, Kasich a Republican. Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump opposes the 12-nation deal, commonly referred to as TPP. So does Democrat Hillary Clinton [a lie] -- as do Ohio's two U.S. senators, Republican Rob Portman [he accepted a large 'donation' to favor it, as did local Rep Pat Tiberi-R, so another lie] and Democrat Sherrod Brown.
But that's not all. Another critic is the man leading the U.S. Senate, Majority Leader Mitch McConnell of Kentucky. He said less than a month ago that the next president can renegotiate the Pacific deal, signaling he has no intention of bringing it to a vote this year. Unless both McConnell and his House counterpart, Speaker Paul Ryan, put the deal before the current Congress, it is dead under the current administration.
[Kasich] is playing a part in Obama's strategy to get Congress to ratify the deal after the November election but before the current session of Congress expires at year's end. [So an end run around a more & more likely Trump victory]

Central Ohio hospitals show video on infant deaths to all new moms
Amanda Williamson-Cline cuddled her 2-day-old son in bed at Mount Carmel St. Ann’s on Thursday with husband, Matthew, by their side.
They were watching a new video on the benefits of breast-feeding, the ABCs of safe sleeping for infants (alone, on their backs and in a crib), and a reminder to make sure parents and guardians trust the person they hand their crying child to.
Central Ohio’s four main hospital systems — Mount Carmel, Nationwide Children’s, OhioHealth and Ohio State University — have agreed to show the video to all new mothers before they’re discharged. That’s about 19,000 deliveries a year in the county.
