Mass Shootings

Police custody lifted, a Kalashnikov and a bulletproof vest found: the latest details after the death of a man, shot dead by the police in Grenoble https://l.francebleu.fr/nNh9
Thursday, July 7, around 6 p.m., a man was shot dead by a policeman, place d'April, in the city center of Grenoble. He was driving a scooter with the passenger armed. The latter would have aimed at an official, on patrol in the sector, who took out his service weapon.
This Thursday, around 6 p.m., witnesses report the presence in the city center of Grenoble of two individuals, traveling on a scooter, whose passenger would be armed. Two police officers, who were patrolling the area on foot, pass them.

A weapon of war on a scooter

According to the first elements of the investigation, the police would have been aimed by the passenger . One of the officials then allegedly took out his service weapon and fired at the occupants of the scooter. Touched, the driver would have lost control of his machine which ended its race a few meters further. Despite the rapid intervention of the emergency services, the man, named Deniz, died . Aged 24, he had been sentenced to two and a half years in prison for armed robbery by the criminal court. Released since, he had not been talked about, according to his lawyer, who went to the scene, called Thursday by the family, who lives in Saint-Martin-d'Hères and who is of Turkish origin.

Police custody lifted this Friday

The police officer's custody was lifted overnight from Thursday to Friday after his hearing by investigators from the IGPN, the police force, said the prosecution on Friday. The policeman explained that he used his weapon in the direction of the men on the scooter. One of them was armed, also assures the policeman, with "a Kalashnikov type rifle". Two of his colleagues, witnesses of the scene and also questioned, confirmed the presence of this long weapon. According to Fabienne Lewandowski, police chief in Isère, "the Kalashnikov was armed and a second charger was found on the scene" . The prosecution adds that a bulletproof vest was also found on the spot.

On the victim's side, the autopsy revealed that the 24-year-old man was hit by a single fatal bullet. No other lesions were discovered.

The passenger of the scooter wanted

The passenger of the scooter, he fled, abandoning his weapon, loaded, Kalashnikov type, on the road. He is still wanted on Friday.

The Grenoble prosecutor's office issued a press release, explaining that it had opened two investigations . One for attempted murder of a person holding public authority. She was entrusted to the Judicial Police of Grenoble. The IGPN, the police force, was seized of that for fatal blows. The policeman who fired the shots was taken into custody. The autopsy will take place this morning.

The atmosphere yesterday at the scene of the tragedy was electric

Thursday evening, the family and relatives of the victim had gathered near the place where the body of the victim was still found, the time of the findings. In a tense atmosphere , some insulted the police who had cordoned off the area.

"He was the driver of the scooter, I don't see what risk he could represent" is wary the aunt of the man who was killed, "Even if he had a passenger and he had a weapon I remain skeptical. I I don't see why he would walk around with a weapon like that, in plain sight. It would really be pure provocation, it would be pure suicide. So I really question this version of the facts."

The victim's aunt says she is skeptical about the circumstances of the death of her nephew, Deniz

After a few hours, the place of Apvril, where the tragedy took place, had regained its calm.

Hautes-Pyrenees. Murder of two teachers: the gendarmerie calls for witnesses #DauphineLibere
A call for witnesses with the photo of the man "suspected of being the perpetrator", was broadcast this Friday by the gendarmerie after the murder of two teachers on Monday in the Hautes-Pyrénées.

Investigators from the Toulouse research section have set up a hotline, on 05 62 34 81 93, to collect testimonies “24 hours a day, 7 days a week”.

Cédric Tauleygne, 34, is suspected of having killed Gabriel Fourmigué and Aurélie Pardon , of whom he is the husband, Monday in Pouyastruc (Hautes-Pyrénées) near Tarbes. The man, described as European type, athletic, with glasses and shaved hair, measuring 1.75m, is on the run and still actively wanted, in France and Spain.

This worker in a factory in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques, wore blue jeans and a dark leather jacket at the time of the facts, indicate the gendarmes in their call for witnesses.

Active research in France and Spain

His motorcycle was found on Wednesday in Jaca , Aragon, on the Spanish side of the border, according to a source familiar with the investigation.

On Friday, the Spanish police said they had "nothing new". Research continues around Jaca, "the device remains active", according to the same source, without further details. “Nothing allows in the state to favor the hypothesis that the individual is still alive or dead”, specified in a press release Cécile Gensac, the prosecutor of Pau, where the file was transferred.

Gendarmes also crisscross the land in a large area, around Barbazan-Dessus, the town where the couple who was in the process of divorce resided, as well as in the neighboring departments.

"We still have 80 gendarmes, from the Hautes-Pyrénées group and mobile gendarmes as reinforcements, who are in the area, and heavy searches are underway on the other side of the border," he told AFP on Friday. Colonel Laurent Lachâtre, commander of the Toulouse SR. “We are looking for it on both sides,” he stressed.

Judicial investigation for "assassinations" opened

Gabriel Fourmigué, 55, and Aurélie Pardon, 32, were respectively physical education and French teachers at the Desaix college, located in the city center of Tarbes. The two teachers, shot and killed on Monday, had "become romantically closer in recent weeks during a school trip," the Tarbes prosecutor said at a press conference on Tuesday.

A judicial investigation, retaining the qualification of "assassinations" was opened.

The last line of the article sums it up exactly...
As the national debate rages about stricter gun control measures, a good guy with a gun neutralized a bad guy with a gun in his tracks.

This is exactly what they don't want. And this is never brought up.

In fact, their position is something like, leave that to the police, (but also we are defunding the police.) Doesn't get much clearer than that.

Salman Rushdie was just stabbed during a speech in NY. A fatwa was placed against him by Iranian mullahs a while ago for his book the Satanic Verses. Easy enough for someone to do a mind job on someone and then blame the attack in Islamists, similar to Sirhan Sirhan and RFK.

It’d be interesting to see the video for a few minutes before the incident happened and take a look into the bio of the attacker.

Some have pointed out on social media that the attack on Rushdie (Iran's Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini issued a fatwa against him decades ago) comes at the same time as U.S. agencies are allegedly uncovering plots to assassinate the likes of Bolton and Pompeo by certain Iranian officials. In the background of all this, the Iran nuclear deal is in the process of potentially being revived. We don't have to search far to figure out who has a vested interest in demonizing Iran, assuming these happenings are related, and not a string of coincidences.

Ten killed in Canada stabbing spree: What, where and who?

Suspects on the run after attacks at James Smith Cree Nation and nearby Weldon village in Saskatchewan province.

Police in Canada are hunting for two men identified as suspects in a stabbing spree in the central province of Saskatchwan that left at least 10 people dead.

Another 15 people were wounded in the attacks on Sunday in the remote Indigenous community of James Smith Cree Nation and the nearby town of Weldon.

“It is horrific what has occurred in our province today,” Royal Canadian Mounted Police Assistant Commissioner Rhonda Blackmore told a news conference.

Here’s what we know so far:

The article below:

I saw that too and I found it to be rather odd, usually these attacks tend to be a single event and cause a lot of damage in a single location, as if the attacker kind of runs out of energy once their act is perpetrated.

But to go around doing it like this, it's quite another thing, very odd. Then, as I was doing my nightly rounds, I caught the following too, from the same province (though Canadians may correct me)

On the date of January of this year, SOTT.net posted the Las Vegas shooting documentary by Mandy Robinson. Had noted it then, and a month later Ukraine happened and the documentary was pushed off to the side unviewed, but not forgotten. So, finally watched it.

The following recaps the session held back in 2017:

(L) Yeah, other people may be having other dreams like that, too. Okay, you want to ask about your Vegas thing, Joe? Do you have a clearly formulated series of questions that you're going to ask?

(Joe) Just one.

(L) Just one? Okay. [laughter]

(Joe) Was there more than one shooter?

A: Yes

Q: (Joe) Oh, well that leads to another question! [laughter] How many?

A: 3

Q: (Joe) How many were in the hotel room?

A: 2 {this corresponds to the witness Mindy brings up who shouted something like, look, two shootees in the window}

Q: (Joe) Did Paddock do any shooting, or was he dead already?

A: Dead {indeed}

Q: (Joe) There was a security guard who came up to the floor. Is that security guard, Jesus Campos, a legitimate security guard?

A: He is and is not

Q: (L) In other words, he was hired as a security guard, although he wasn't licensed?

A: Yes

Q: (Joe) But was he one of the conspirators?

A: No

Q: (Joe) Okay, so he's a useful idiot in a certain sense. And the drilling sound that he allegedly heard in the room, was that these shooters inside the room drilling in order to escape unseen?

A: Yes.

Q: (Artemis) Why do they sometimes write "Yes." and sometimes just move to "Yes" on the board?

(L) I dunno. Maybe it’s emphasis.

(Joe) What's the location of the third shooter? There were two in the room and one more shooter. Where was he, roughly?

A: Triangulated. {proves out by witnesses and basic observable forensics - not that they did any}

Q: (Joe) Okay.

(Niall) The other casinos on the strip...

(Joe) How many people were involved in this operation in total in terms of spotters and...?

A: 27 {yes, a wide field}

Q: (Niall) Did some of these other people shoot outside or at other casinos that had active shooters? {as was evident by reports from along the strip}

A: Yes

Q: (Niall) So that's a lot of people...

(L) There could have even been people in the crowd shooting.

(Joe) Well, no, they said there were three shooters. Well... Was the third triangulated shooter on the ground in the crowd, or was he further back?

A: Further back but on ground.

Q: (Joe) And of course the FBI and all these people are well aware of all of this, and they're just covering it up, right?

A: Yes

Q: (Joe) That FBI dude is such a creep.

(Pierre) And the third shooter was 270 yards from the crowd?

A: No

Q: (Pierre) Ah... How far?

A: 80 {this corresponds to witnesses, this level triangulation shooter. This shooter also seems to have taken direct head shots as indicated by witnesses}

Q: (Pierre) 80 yards. Wow...

(Niall) Fuel tank, right?

(Joe) We can triangulate it.

(Pierre) There was an acoustic analysis that said 270. {eleven busts plus the triangulated guy}

(L) The guy on the ground could have been using a silencer, too. Alright, now you guys have gone over your one question.

(Joe) Well, they keep answering... [laughter] So there were two shooters in the room. Was one of the guns up in the room a heavier caliber gun as we have surmised?

A: Yes

Q: (Joe) Alright. That's all. Done.

(L) Is that it? Any more questions on OTHER TOPICS?

(Joe) Why did they do it? Is this just one more, "Remind the people why they need us"?

A: Chaos.

Q: (Joe) They kinda seem to have left a lot of things... loose threads here. Is this...?

A: Chaos affects them too!

Q: (Joe) Psychos gone wild.

(Niall) Yeah. Is the death toll as officially reported accurate?

(L) What is the death toll?

(Niall) 59 plus 500+ wounded.

(Joe) 58 dead. {Mindy has it 58 killed as of 2022 - match}

A: Almost. {others were killed but not reported directly - or after the fact as is known; witnesses suddenly died}

Q: (L) So there might be one or two others that they're not talking about.

A: Yes

Q: (Joe) The Paddock guy, the patsy, he was alive when he came into the hotel. He was shot on the day of the shooting in the hotel?

A: Yes

Q: (Joe) And he just had a "mind job" done on him by agents of the...?

A: Yes

Q: (Joe) Okay. Thank you.

(L) Alright, I'm tired. Anything we need to know that we haven't asked?

A: Goodbye.

END OF SESSION

Mindy's documentary hits on a number of the direct references above. She brings up so many moving parts that one can easily get distracted. She shows the 3 helicopters transponders were off that hovered in at the Mandalay Bay at the commencement of shooting, that later took off as the Police helicopter makes its way there (also timed at the end of the shooting). Some speculated that shooting was coming from the helicopters, but more likely scouts - eyes, coordinators, and also to sow confusion later as surely they would be reported upon.

The rest, as was indicated in session - and the reality at the time on the ground, was a whole lot of chaos and abject suffering.

As for the cover-up of a crime scene that was near the whole inner Las Vegas core strip, the big boots used their sanitizing dragnet while the media broom swept it all into a pile and under the rug. People who were there said, everybody knows, we all knew that night and the next day and day after et cetera, however it is if it never happened. From top down, lies and omissions. Police, forced to sign NDAs. Cell phones swept up and scrubbed clean. Thousands of units and hours of direct Johnny on the spot CCTV, nothing. YouTube, delete delete. Fact Checkers by the score. Media, same old same old lone wolf story, nothing to see let's move along.

If the goal was to spread chaos, yeah it worked, they did all that.

The repeating crime scene message of an assassination such as JFK, a 9/11 or Mandalay Bay (and so much more), is that the whole world can watch it all, see with their own eyes, and the next day be convinced by a massive machine that what they saw was not what they saw. This machine is so beholden and bold-faced in their lies, they just don't even care.

At the documentary end (and I don't generally keep track of these things 5 years post), was a follow-up on the local players in the game; judges, chief of police, governor and many more who were already, or became so corrupted and naked that it boggles the mind, and yet not unexpected. Again, they just don't care, it means nothing to them and or to those that support them - the system is geared to allow them to get away scot-free.

Officially, the Mandalay Bay Crime, closed.

Thailand shooting: 22 children among 34 killed in nursery attack

North-east region preschool centre attacked by gunman who also killed himself and his family

Thirty-four people have been killed, including 22 children, in a mass shooting at a preschool centre in a north-eastern province of Thailand, police have said.

The attacker, a former policeman, also killed his wife and child before shooting himself dead.

About 30 children were at the centre when the gunman entered the building at 12.30pm (0530 GMT), during the children’s nap time, police and local officials said. The victims were as young as two years old.

Police said the perpetrator was a former police officer.Photograph: Thailand’s Central Investigation Bureau/AFP/Getty Images

Jidapa Boonsom, a district official, told Reuters that the attacker first shot four or five members of staff, including a teacher who was eight months pregnant. “At first people thought it was fireworks,” she added.

Videos posted on social media showed sheets covering what appeared to be the bodies of children lying in pools of blood at the centre in the town of Uthai Sawan in the north-eastern province of Nong Bua Lamphu.

Local police said the attacker was armed with a shotgun, a pistol and a knife, and that he fled the scene in a vehicle. The Daily News newspaper reported that after fleeing the attacker returned to his home and killed himself along with his wife and child.

Chakkraphat Wichitvaidya, superintendent of Na Klang police station, told Thai Rath TV that the gunman had been discharged from the police force last year.

Children at the centre were reportedly asleep.

Prime minister Prayuth Chan-ocha said in a statement on Facebook that he offered his deepest condolences to the families and those injured. “I ordered the police chief to immediately go to the area and all the related agencies help all those affected urgently,” he said.

The rate of gun ownership in Thailand is high compared with some other countries in the region, but official figures do not include huge numbers of illegal weapons, many of which have been brought in across porous borders over the years from strife-torn neighbours.

Mass shootings in Thailand are rare, but in 2020 a soldier angry over a property deal killed at least 29 people and wounded 57 in a rampage that spanned four locations.

Mexican cartel war looms on the horizon

Members of the armed group calling themselves "Los Tequileros" executed Conrado Mendoza Almeda, mayor of the municipality of San Miguel Totolapan, his father, seven municipal police officers and 14 people who were attending a meeting with the mayor, confirmed authorities of 1the State of Guerrero in Mexico.

ATTACK IN TOTOLAPAN TARGETED MICHOACAN FAMILY LEADER, ACCORDING TO REPORT

Wednesday's attack reportedly targeted "La Fresa", the alleged leader of the Drug Cartel Familia Michoacana, according to a video posted on social networks.

In a 10-minute video posted on social networks on Thursday, a man identified as Alfredo Olascoaga Hurtado claims that the armed group's attack, which left 23 people dead, targeted him, as well as Mayor Conrado Mendoza and his father, Juan Mendoza.

He said that on Wednesday he left his home in the same community to go to a meeting with the mayor to discuss a video of a rival group that had made threats and before getting out of his armored truck the attack began.

In the video he speaks of betrayals within the town and acknowledged that "they were confident" because he did not think anyone would dare to make an attack in that area.

According to his version of events, he left San Miguel, looked for his people and mentions that "things got out of control". He shows a video in which a line of burning pickup trucks can be seen, with blood stains and bullet impacts. No people or bodies can be seen.

"I was very upset, very upset and we didn't leave a single bastard there, I decided that they didn't even deserve to be buried, why, because they blew their heads off by going into that town, quiet town."

He asked the people of San Miguel to be calm and not to lower their guard. "Those who entered are dead, all of them", he assures.

Leader of La Familia Michoacana explained in a video how he escaped the attack in San Miguel #Totolapan that left 20 people dead. Colleagues of the deputy murdered in #Cuernavaca went to the National Palace to ask for help from the President:

"According to the investigation folder, in Totolapan about 40 people came to attack with weapons of exclusive use of the army, the attack would have lasted 10 to 15 minutes in two different places and left 20 dead and 2 wounded": @SandraLuz_V, prosecutor of Guerrero."

San Andres Totoloapan is the portrait of a Mexico that is heading towards the shadows. Mayor Cornrado Mendoza was murdered. Other people also died, but the Guerrero authorities, who could not protect them, have not been able to sing for the victims either.

At least 11 people have been killed and 15 injured in an attack on a training range in Russia's Belgorod Region, which borders Ukraine, the Defense Ministry said on Saturday. The incident was a “terrorist act,” it added.

Two suspects have been killed on the spot in retaliatory fire, the ministry explained. Officials further explained that they have been identified as “citizens of a member of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).”

The CIS includes most former Soviet republics, except for the Baltic States, Ukraine, Georgia and Turkmenistan. The latter is an associate member of the organization.

The Russian military has not provided any further details about the incident or the identities of the assailants.

According to RIA Novosti, the two attackers opened fire at a group of volunteer fighters during training at a firing range. The Defense Ministry has yet to confirm this information.

Saturday's news comes amid a partial mobilization in Russia, declared as the nation is locked in a protracted conflict with Ukraine. Earlier this week, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that over 200,000 reservists had been called to arms as part of the process, with most of them still undergoing training.

Russian authorities have also declared last week's truck explosion on the Crimean Bridge a terrorist act. The Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) accused Ukrainian military intelligence of masterminding the bombing, which killed at least four, including the truck driver, and led to a partial collapse of a highway section of the bridge.

Russia has identified 12 individuals as suspected accomplices in the plot and has arrested eight of them, the FSB said. The list of people in custody includes five Russians and three foreigners, who have citizenship of Ukraine and Armenia, law enforcement said at that time.

So far, no one has claimed responsibility for Saturday's attack on the training range

Six people have died and one survived the string of shootings that began in April 2021.
An arrest has been made in a series of killings that occurred in Stockton, California, authorities announced Saturday.

Acting on tips, police watched and arrested Wesley Brownlee, 43, who was taken into custody about 2 a.m. Saturday in connection with six homicides and one injury shooting, Stockton Police Department Chief Stanley McFadden said at a news conference.

"Our surveillance team followed this person while he was driving," he said. "He was on a mission to kill. He was out hunting."

The chief said the suspect was in dark clothing, had a mask around his neck, and was armed.

"We are sure we stopped another killing," McFadden said.

Investigators allege the suspect used his vehicle in the attacks but then got on foot before opening fire. In previous news conferences and statements, Stockton police indicated the shooter essentially sneaked up on victims.

"His pattern and preying was at some point to get on foot," McFadden said Saturday.

Six people were killed and one survived the string of shootings that began in April 2021. The most recent was on Sept. 27. Investigators used ballistic evidence to connect the shootings.

Most of the victims were Latino although authorities have said they found no evidence the killings were race based. Three victims were homeless.

McFadden said at a news conference Oct. 4 that no evidence existed to support a hate motive. "We have no witness that has said this person has said anything like that, or even spoke for that matter," he said.

On Saturday, the chief did not speak about motive. Rather, he credited Stockton residents for sending in the phone tips that helped his task force focus on the suspect's Stockton residence and then shadow him when he drove.

"We maintained eyes on his residence until he became mobile," McFadden said. "We identified that he’s posing a threat."

A Stockton police SWAT team subsequently searched the suspect's residence, described as an apartment, McFadden said. Findings were not divulged.

Police later posted a photograph of a 9 mm handgun on the agency's Facebook page. It's the weapon McFadden said his officers found in the suspect's vehicle.

District Attorney Tori Verber Salazar said formal charges would be announced Tuesday. "You don't come to our house and bring this kind of reign of terror," she said.

McFadden emphasized that the investigation into the killings was ongoing, and police still want tips from the public.

The victims have been identified as Paul Alexander Yaw, 35; Salvador Debudey, Jr., 43; Jonathan Hernandez Rodriguez, 21; Juan Cruz, 52; Lawrence Lopez Sr., 54; Juan Vasquez Serrano, 39; and an unidentified 46-year-old Black woman who survived.

Serrano is believed to have been the first victim. He was fatally shot just before 4:20 a.m. on April 10, 2021, in Oakland, police said.

Another shooting occurred days later, on April 16 and involved the unidentified woman. She told authorities that she was in her tent and came outside around 3:20 a.m., advanced on a man who was creating a disturbance and was immediately shot.

The woman described the shooter as 5 feet 10inches tall and wearing dark clothing and a dark mask, police said.
Yaw was killed on July 8 at a park in Stockton, his mother Greta Bogrow said. Bogrow, who lives in Texas, said she has been estranged from Yaw, who had been homeless for about five years.

The next shooting took place on Aug. 11. According to police Debudey was shot around 9:49 p.m. in a parking lot. Officers tried to perform lifesaving measures but he died at the scene, police said. About three weeks later, on Aug. 30, Rodriguez was gunned down in his vehicle outside of his apartment complex, the station reported.

The last two shootings happened days apart on Sept. 21 when Cruz was killed, and on Sept. 27 when Lopez was shot and killed just before 2 a.m. on the 900 block of Porter Avenue.

The homicides have frightened the city of more than 322,000 in the Central Valley, about 80 miles east of San Francisco.
Added information
McFadden added that Brownlee was detained after engaging in what appeared to be threatening behavior, including going to parks and dark places, stopping and looking around before driving on.

Investigators were still trying to identify a motive for the attacks. Police said some victims were homeless, but not all. None were beaten or robbed, and the woman who survived said her attacker didn’t say anything.

The police chief thanked various local, state and federal agencies that took part in the investigation, including the FBI, U.S. Marshals and U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration.

Local investigators had also worked with police in Chicago to determine whether the killings might be linked to two 2018 murders in that city’s Rogers Park neighborhood. Authorities said videos of suspects showed a man in black with a distinctive walk.

However, Chicago police said Friday that there didn’t appear to be any link.
