When I was first seeking information concerning the strange situations that were occurring in my life, I came across a couple of sites/forums where I would speak to people who were going through the same thing. Not too long afterwards, I stopped visiting those sites because there was a lot of noise and disinformation that fed into people's fears.

In my research, I did however encounter some people who were reasonable and seemed to be searching for real answers. My question is would it be okay to send a few of those people a link to this forum so that they at least become aware that an alternative view exists? I fully intend to be discerning as to who I give this information to as the last thing I want to do is to increase any noise/confusion on this forum.

Any and all replies are appreciated.

Hi TS,

What I'd do is give them the link to Sott.net, or to an Sott article (perhaps one from Connect the dots), which will give them a chance to get an idea of some of the things we discuss here and see if it resonates with them. If so, and they feel the need to know more and discuss after reading a couple of articles, they'll be able to find their way to the forum following the link on the home page.
That's my take on it anyway.
