Re: What I had for dinner

Mod note: this thread has been split from the "What's for dinner?" thread

Tonight I broke all the rules.... fried, dairy and nightshades.... Had (2) 1/4 lb pieces of fried of mozzarella with garlic and jalapenos, pan fried to crisp golden brown with just enough butter so they wouldn't stick to the pan, let them cool so that they become firm but still hot... mmm

I know...I know.... I broke the rules  but not the worst thing I've done in my life

Why did you post this in this thread? What reaction are you looking for?

I was under the impression that this thread was a "peek into others kitchens and not a recipe thread" [paraphrase from Laura] ... Normally I eat according to the paleo-diet/blood-type diet and "nothing from a package" rules but tonight I didn't.

I wasn't expecting a reaction, but sorry if I have caused a negative one for anyone

First sentence in my opening post: "I thought I would start a thread where we can report what kinds of meals we prepare living on a gluten and dairy free diet."

This thread is supposed to be inspirational and you are definitely not an inspiration to anybody.

Yes I went back and read the beginning post this morning and it seems that important detail slipped.... I was going to say "slipped my mind" But upon writing that sentence I realize that is not true, because I stated myself, that "I broke the rules"

Not sure why I posted it now. Perhaps I was looking for some "reaction" or didn't take into consideration, how such an off topic comment, would break the energy flow of the thread. I guess I'll have to think on that for awhile and probably won't like what I find.

I apologize for breaking the inspirational mood of the thread and for the noise. I'll think before I speak next time.

no problem, we all make mistakes :)
Hi Pashalis,

While it's true that we all make mistakes, it's also important to try and recognize the programs that may be running as we write our thoughts. Take care that you're not running a "be nice" program due to feeling uncomfortable about this situation arising. While it can mask itself as giving support to someone when they've been mirrored, it can really just support the person into holding onto their own illusions thus doing more harm than good.

Added: the "be nice" program can come up for us in situations where we perceive a conflict and are uncomfortable with it. A search on the forum may help. :)

No problem, :) I wasn't sure if your response to seekr was due to a "be nice" program you were having. If it was, I asking that you examine that as it may be doing more harm than good to seekr. Let me know if you need more clarification.
