I recommend books about self healing: Louise L. Hay - how to heal the spirit and the body; Michael Brown-process-presence; Dr. John E.Sarno- how to heal pain in the back
I practice Reiki for 13 years, just for my family and myself, of course, be happy to give treatment to anyone who asks ... I made a mighty step forward in terms of personal health, but, back pain I was not able to solve ... on countless hits, used various therapies, the pain came back again and again ... last recommendation of doctors - operation! that I did not want to accept ... and then appears Sarno book - how to treat back pain ... healing happened in a split second ... last two years - the pain is not coming back ... if we are able to accept bets that if there is no breakage or damage, the cause of pain or disease is exclusively mental nature

Hi boucles58

I have Heal Your Body A-Z: The Mental Causes for Physical Illness by Louise Hay and Biogenealogy Sourcebook: Healing the Body by Resolving Traumas of the Past Paperback by Christian Fleche.
Both are useful for understanding the emotional elements of diseases, but are missing some large chunks of psychological and physiological understanding.
They are useful but only a small part of the full picture.

When the Body Says "no" by Gabor Mate is a much more practical book from my experience with these things, and covers a wider view.

The Ketogenic Diet - Path To Transformation? thread is the most up to date research that has been done on the forum.
Most health problems are inflammation, which comes from many things you wouldn't normally expect in the diet. They can equally come from stress and emotional issues.
Diet, stress, toxicity and gut bacteria influence our moods - which then feed back into inflammatory responses. Even the pain of inflammation can make you more inflamed.

Have a look at the Recommended Books: List and Guide for some more ideas.

Both diet and psychology are linked at a deep level when it comes to health, and it's important to consider diet first I think :)

I'm glad you where able to heal your problems.

from the first day, we swallowed the negative emotional charge ... and never nobody told us how to get it out, the family did not know, the system did not want to ... but in fact was very simple

Our mental processes, outlook and projections no doubt have a significant impact on our bodies, but I agree that diet needs to be be at the top of the list as well. Taking a look at our mental life and what we're feeding that is very important, but things should also be sorted out in terms of what we're putting into our bodies as well. I've also seen some who focus only on the mental life in terms of fixing pain and have seen denial crop up because the beliefs were so strong.

I would say that Éiriú Eolas http://eiriu-eolas.org/ can be of great help here. It can definitely help ease the negative emotional charge in a gentle way so it will let you release it and learn from it and grow from it.

Check out the thread on the topic for what others have said about it.

And from the first day, along with the "negative emotional charge", we also breathed in the toxic air of pollution and nuclear waste into our lungs, we consumed food that was not nurturing but unhealthy for our body and mind, and we also swallowed the lies about so many subjects in our world: history, economy, politics, health, science, psychology etc.

So I don't know if it is that simple. We need to take into account all of the above if we are to understand everything that goes on with ourselves, because it is all interconnected.

I used to be a strong believer of "all disease in the body comes from emotional causes", but my experiences and those of others taught me that this is not the case, thank goodness. I relate this story somewhere else on the forum too, but the most striking example was seeing a young man suffering from schizophrenia have a reduction in symptoms (auditory hallucinations, fear of interacting with others, and paranoid thinking) after taking huge amounts of fish oils prescribed to him by a Chinese medicine man! So, though there might be emotional (even karmic, genetic) reasons for this man's predisposition to schizophrenia, it was clear that he was also lacking specific nutrients, like the amino acids in fish oils, which when he took, improved his brain function.

It was this experience that showed me that self-healing is a much more complicated business than I thought it was. And then in my own life, by applying dietary changes and supplementation after the research done by this group, I was able to improve my physical and mental health significantly, which affected my emotional health in turn. So, again, you see, it's all connected and affecting each other.

I appreciate your point of view, an interesting view on the matter, but, tell me your opinion, what is the right term - the glass is half empty or half full?

The way I see it, the glass is full with water and air.

But I must admit that I don't understand your glass question though, in relation to the discussion at hand.

dear Alana, both terms are correct, depending on the angle of view ... which can be applied to every aspect of life

... It occurred to me, I recently read an article about a doctor, a psychiatrist in the United States, which is devoted to the study of the influence of LSD on the human psyche. After 10 years of work, he decided to expand research and traveled to India and sought out people, for he had heard that they have incredible psychic abilities, spiritual people, Guru-s. He found an old guru and in front of him put a pill of LSD from the 100, 250 and 500 milligrams, offer the guru in front of 100 mg ... guru tells him - no, give me this of 500mg...doctor was in shock, no, out of the question says the doctor, is too strong, let's start with 100 mg ... I insist, says Guru and take a pill of 500 mg and swallowed, doctor could not get it ... Guru says, give me another one 500 mg ... After half an hour Guru requested another 500 mg ... doctor stunned looking at Guru who after an hour he showed absolutely no symptoms,of the drugs! It is so influenced to doctor, he promptly canceled his research, he stayed in India dedicated to the spiritual apprenticeship.
Personally, I am deeply convinced that in all of us there is an incredible variety of ways of self healing, we need to investigate it (someone in this, I'm probably in the next life) and learn to apply. When I talk to people, I hear most often - you do not understand, i have a problem at work, in the family, in health,i am not now prepared to deal with such nonsense - though I assure you I've been like that, until recently, and that books and Reiki made me really stabilized and brought into some - such a line, shaking their heads in disbelief. Okay, that's their life, their selection and it is not given that they see now. However, anyone who dares to ask, or ask for help, I do my best to explain or to help with treatment. I can not believe that today there are still people who pay big money to attend a seminar (and I'm used to be such) and learned some things, whether on the job or life, and there are far more effective way, and far cheaper - reading books, reading thought-provoking thinking leads to the conclusion and the conclusion leads to action, left or right, up or down, a matter of choice. When I ask some of them about the seminar, did that help them, the most common answer is - well, it was good, it was cool ... they do not know to explain what was the word. The books to read 3-10 pages a day, then you are thinking about deciphered, so the material sit, read you a book once again, after a few months, it is surprising how many details are not understood or perceived. My presence in this forum allows me to learn more, I'm open to all, giving my own experience, and that is not something particular - that someone can help but not necessarily.
Laura? An amazing woman who has shown exceptional courage and perseverance, consistency that amazes. A woman who was braver than many of us. Considering what he's gone through in life and where she is now, deeply her bow and her hereby express my deepest respect. Reiki has changed me from the ground up (says my wife after 6 months of working with Reiki, ,, buddy, how you've changed '' ... I'm in the bathroom in front of the mirror, looking at the face, tongue ... she was leaning against the door and says ,, calf, not that way, you're quite a different person '' ...), or just tracking Laura's adventures with the C's gave me the incentive to look for other topics, books, documentaries ... The situation is such that I do not have a lot of friends as before, their themes irritate me, my themes do not interested them, and it's fine. All who are on the spiritual path, are blessed if you have the support and understanding in the family, which is not the case with me,otherwise i would, very likely, achieved some notable awareness. I have a friend, also a trucker, who is on the trail with his wife, a lot younger than me, and i am honored that I have them for friends, far above me, unfortunately, at the the nature of the work,we very rarely see each other, but when we meet, it's an experience.
Folks, I am happy that I came to this forum (I have long hesitated, until I was not pushed from Laura, thank her for it) and if i can do anything at all to help anyone, it will be a tremendous pleasure.
