The fifth starship to carry the name Enterprise, the Enterprise – D was designed with long-term exploration in mind. Equipped to carry a large crew compliment and their families, Galaxy class starships almost resembled old earth ocean liners in terms of accommodations. The Enterprise was no slouch when it came to combat, and was equipped with 250 photon torpedoes and 16 Type X phaser banks, which arguably can output terawatts of power upon foes. The ship itself is 642 meters long, which makes its saucer section almost as big as the United States’ Pentagon headquarters. It holds dozens of smaller shuttlecraft that dock in 1 main and 2 auxiliary shuttlebays. There are holodecks, gyms, arboretums, malls, communal areas, lounges, cargo bays, aquatic accommodations, and a variety of other rooms. The ship is truly ready for anything, and has earned the position of the flagship of the Federation.

Enjoy!

At first I thought 12 minutes would be too long, but when it was over, I wanted more!

Loved every second and every pixel of the tour. I even enjoyed the way ship's sounds changed depending what room you were in.

Thank you!

I second every word! The details are really fancy.

Thank you for sharing Palinurus.. Nicely done and it is using gaming platform. It is decent amount of work to reconstruct .

Main Project Goal:

To create the entirety of the USS Enterprise NCC-1701-D in the Unreal Game Engine. The Enterprise would serve first and foremost as a virtual museum. Every deck and room can be explored. Fans would be able to visit engineering via the turbolift, or walk from Deck 36 to Deck 5 to see the Arboretum. What does Worf’s quarters look like? What about the large forward windows on Deck 3? What kind of communal areas exist on the ship? Malls? Markets? Gardens? All these questions will be answered.
...

Other Potential Phases:
...
Those are all phases I have considered in this construction. However, currently I am just one person working on this project. I have plans only to complete the main Project Goal. If there is interest from the fanbase, I will try and pursue this project from a more serious standpoint.

Thanks for sharing, Palinurus. That was awesome to watch.

No toilet paper in the toilet but what looks like three sea shells. Hmm.

That made me laugh. It reminded me of the film Demolition Man where the three sea shells replaced the toilet paper in the future. It's been a mystery of how to use them, though.

Thanks for sharing. It was great to watch and some memories from the tv series came up.

That's what I thought too. And then "he doesn't know how to use the three sea shells, pfff"
