According to wikipedia:

The series "imagines a utopian society that has achieved peace and stability through the prohibition of monogamy, privacy, money, family and history itself."[3] In an update of the original novel, an artificial intelligence system named Indra also connects citizens via a wireless network.[4] (The name references Indra of Hindu mythology.)

From the trailers it looks like wireless network that connects all the citizens is via contact lens that has a little wire that goes into the eye! They're still popping their soma tablets.

I saw the trailer and it looks very interesting, I haven’t had a chance to watch it and say whether it’s any good or it does Huxley any justice.

But I think I’ll be checking it out

The show is mediocre: superficial characters, poor directing, overuse of sexual themes. I couldn't watch more than four episodes. But some people like it so...
