The Living Force
This movie is quite interesting because I saw it as trying to express the relationship between narcissism and pyschopathy. The main tone is about this rather lost character played by robert pattinson who finds himself in a relationship started as a get even with her dad kind of thing. Her dad being a policeman.

Anyways, that is not the most interesting thing about the movie from my point of view. The most interesting part is watching the ralationship between Robert Pattinson's character and pierce Brosnan's character who plays his dad. From all appearances it might appear his dad is a narcissist and a pyschopath. As a result you get to understand the source of the inner conflict present in Pattinson's character throughout the movie. This is what you'd expect when one is brought up with someone who is quite powerful and has narcisstic and pyschopathic traits. However, watch out for the twist right at the end. I carried assumptions about his dad throughout the movie based on what we see of him. Even based on what I have read about the character traits of narcissism and pyschopathy. But watch out for the twist. I dont want to spoil it.....

Do we really know pyschopaths?? Do they have the capacity to surprise us? Are we to quick to judge? (I know this is just fiction but one cant just dismiss fiction without due consideration). I dont know, I might be seeing things that arent there but I think there is a hidden lesson in there somewhere like if his dad is a pyschopath and narcissist, why in the end did he demonstrate non-psychopathic traits.... What brought about this jump? Are pyschopaths really as hollow as we think?

I thought this movie definately had more than one layer and it is quite an enjoyable watch. Dont let the involvement of Robert Pattinson and his connection to twilight discourage you. I thought he played his character quite well.

I saw this movie yesterday. It`s not bad. And about the twist at the end. I just thinking let`s look at this from diferent side: maybe the Pierce Brosnan character know what will happen? In the begining of the movie we can see a scene in the class room where a teacher asking about the root cause of terrorism and asking is this a ethical question? Ally(movie character) explains it`s more a moral question than an ethical. Teacher asks her Why so? and she replied: Moral describes personal character and Ethics are standard behaviour accepted by a group and teacher saying that personal character at the end is more important. So what is my point....well at the end twist we can see in my opinion that Pierce Brosnan character(kindof narcisstic/psychopatic) make a decision which is strictly suprising. It`s showing in some way that he is not moral at all(if we look at this like he know waht will happen) psychopats cant understand what is moral. Instead of being moral he use an Ethics to get accepted as a normalloving persone. And we can see that in ending his behaviour is accepted like a good and right one. And IMO we can se thats Ethics(behaviour accepted by Group) is more important than Morality which describes Pierce Brosnan personal character. This is just my interpretation and first thoughts i have after this movie.

Cheers from Poland
