Snip:
You might want to head outside right now and pull down those last few holiday decorations. Our extended Bay Area dry spell is about to end in a dramatic way, with rain forecast over the next five or six days.
Forecasters at the National Weather Service see at least three separate weather systems taking aim at the Bay Area between Friday night and the middle of next week.
"What we'll have is a series of storms moving through," said NWS forecaster Steve Anderson. "High pressure will not build in long enough behind each storm to give us long breaks."
