In the course of recent events I have become concerned with the “possible” loss of the net, or to find it seriously more controlled. So I have been downloading files from the Quantum Future Group Site - Master Index. Has anyone else attempted to make a pdf library of important works, that is willing to share the best way of doing it, and any other information they have found to be beneficial?

I do share your point of view. As other did before me, I downloaded static web content and saved it for further use.
I'm working with "Alfresco" a Content Management software to help me store all the data.
The search function helps me a lot when searching over different document types such as PDF, HTML, RTF, ODF, etc.
Hope in the future my initiative will be open to share it with others.

At this point, I have the basic psychology books, some other recommended and optional books, G's books, the Hervey Cleckly book and several other pdf's that are available. I've also downloaded and compiled into an ebook, the Online Wave, Adventure Series, all the QFG-related psychopathology studies, as well as all my posts (as a single-point source of all the reference material I've ever posted).

I think that's more than enough for me. If the 'net' goes down, I think I'd be more concerned with the inability to communicate with others, than having access to written info, but maybe that's just me.

I do think it's a good idea to save anything you don't have fully understood yet, though, but you could also just download HTML pages, organize the material in properly-named folders, then use your Operating System's search function on a folder to find what you need, OSIT.

I agree with Bud,

having the main books would be imo more then enough and don't forget "secret history". :)

There is also a similar topic to this one:

Storing the contents of the Cassiopaean Forum on your computer

Yeah, me too. If we loose the net, it will be a brave new world. I cant image who I would discuss important subjects with...
