Here is a band I found a few years back that really helped me overcome my difficulties in accepting my differences with the world. Helped me to see that I wasn't the only one who seemed to see things no-one else saw, and the fact it was conveyed musically (something I haven't really seen done before) just struck me with awe.

The genre itself could be defined as melodic/metal with very harmonious vocals that blend seamlessly with amazing rhythms and beautifully composed solos. The vocals themselves are a mixture of growls and clean vocals neither outweighing one another, but perfectly balanced and harmonized to create one hell of a sound.

The first two songs are off of their first album, second off their 2nd while the latter is off their latest album and seriously outdoes all their previous work. You can really tell the difference in their overall sound.

So if your a metal fan who has an appreciation for clean vocals with a metal sound that delves into esoteric concepts and quantum mechanics in their lyrics then this band should seriously be given a listen to!

These guys are good, after reading The Wave, all sorts of stuff pop out to me in their songs.
