It looks like this just happened a short time ago; there's not a lot of info out there yet, but a friend says he saw a Breaking News update on CNN about it. The Chicago Tribune reported something, then Reuters picked it up:

Looks like just one injured as of now. Also looks like a reminder. It 'pays' to keep the Sandy Hook massacre on people's minds I suppose.

i'm actually reading the news right now.. i'm not surprise at all! it seems that somebody is starting to "push the agenda" this year!

And to force laws on society, that there is a need to act soon: "Why they need us" from the movie V. comes to mind and sounds a bit scary. If the weapon law would be the one I don't know or the insane idea of arming teachers...
