from article:
"Serial sex offender Raymond Henry Garland, considered one of Australia's most dangerous sexual predators, was officially diagnosed a psychopath last week. Psychiatrist Joan Lawrence told the Brisbane District Court that Garland had an "almost 100 per cent chance of violent reoffending." Garland has been dealt four indefinite sentences – but research out today suggests that biological evidence of psychopathy could alter the length of such sentences."

You get less time if they can prove by genetics that you are a psychopath... Read and weep.

I imagine way back in the past healthy societies would have disposed of children "quietly" when it became obvious they were psychopathic (wonder what they called it?). Today we should be locking them up for life at best.

Just a guess, but those were Rites of Passage from puberty to adulthood. If you were psychopathic, you didn't make it. And even if you did, society was geared for cooperation, not predation. In a small community, people know each other.
