Well-they have gone and done it-(sort of) in an article posted in New Scientist they now have a working model (in the microwave range) and figure that a unit that works with visible light spectrum should be doable.

We always wanted one of these right? Great for hiding Klingon ships and such...but when it is REAL, in our world-just think of the implications. While it will probably be a few years before they get all the bugs worked out, it staggers the mind they are actually doing this-now all they need is to get a force field up and running and we will have total stealth capability coupled with invulnerability.

They do give instances of what the technology might be used for in a peaceful way-but we know full well that is not the first order of the day-this technology will be WEAPONIZED straight away and those invisible tanks and soldiers could very well be rolling up on our door steps...

I'm not very scientific so sometimes I go off in a completely different direction (as you might have already seen). But this little sentence right here caught my attention:

Metamaterials might be used to cloak structures that block radio signals, thereby improving cell phone communications, Schurig said.

Are they also making it easier for the microwaves from the cell phone towers to reach everybody? So nobody is missed when they decide to use them for helping along the HAARP with the mind control? Or am I just seeing things that aren't there?

They relate the technology to the shimmering effect seen above a hot road in the distance. Like a lot of EM technology, I'm sure someone could attempt to use the general idea for not so good purposes.

Yes, all is related and all is connected. The fundamental principles demonstrated
are two things, vibration (frequency) and geometry. OSIT

The "metametal" (as they state it) is not really a new concept. They are manually
aligning the geometry of the material(s) so that EM radiation is redirected, distributed,
or dispersed on the object to be hidden. They want to use nano-technology to
achieve their [military/moola] goals. Gotta love these scientist who will soon
be having blood dripping from their hands.

Consider the military stealth planes. The exterior of "weird" angular shapes of
the material is important but that is not the full story. They are also using special
materials (powdered aquamarine crystals have special geometric properties and
is used with a binder) in the material itself so that the EM is disbursed/distributed
in a fashion that very little is reflected back to the radar source. They are also
using special technology to make the plane lighter as the material used are very
heavy and without this technology the plane would never get off the ground. It
also requires special computers to enable plane to be flyable otherwise it is
impossible by human skills, alone.

The Philadelphia Experment was an experiment to achieve the "invisibility
cloak" using high power EM, which was successful but of course it was much
more than that (Realms/Dimensional/Time travel) and this one seems off
topic, but not really.

The UFO's in Mexico were also 'invisbile' and cannot be seen with the unaided
human eyes but by "accident", the Mexican military using infared devices detected
6 different infrared UFO orbs hovering above the city.

As for cellphones and HARRP, I would guess that all selected military and gov't
sites would be cloaked and not your homes since this is, IMO reserved for the
military. As for the cloaked sites, I would guess that it also has the property of
deflecting EM radiation of a wide bandwidth, so this would be akin to a faraday
shield so that the occupants are preserved while the rest of the population is still
at risk. This in in effect a cloak AND a "force field". Clever indeed. OSIT

The bottom line here, is that all of this technology has been around for a LONG
time and IMO, it is all done in steps in prepartion for the gathering and harvesting
of the mulititudes, OSIT. For those of you who think you can defend yourself using
3/4D technology, all one needs to do is ask yourself if it is possible if any of the 1-2D
entities have the technology or power to defend themselves against us carnivores,
the 3/4D entities? Hmmm... I don't think so. So it is with the 1-2Ds entities, they will
need to be objective and add more knowledge to their lesson profiles, as it is for us,
if we so choose to do so.

They have got selected invisibility to a couple different wavelengths of light already, so this:

Autonomous University of Barcelona researchers, in collaboration with an experimental group from the Academy of Sciences of Slovakia, have created a cylinder which hides contents and makes them invisible to magnetic fields. The device was built using superconductor and ferromagnetic materials available on the market. The invention is published this week in the journal Science.

The cylinder is built using high temperature superconductor material, easily refrigerated with liquid nitrogen and covered in a layer of iron, nickel and chrome. This simple and accessible formula has been used to create a true invisibility cloak.

The cylinder is invisible to magnetic fields and represents a step towards the invisibility of light - an electromagnetic wave. Never before had a device been created with such simplicity or exactness in theoretical calculations, or even with such important results in the laboratory.

Researchers at UAB, led by Àlvar Sánchez, lecturer of the Department of Physics, came up with the mathematical formula to design the device. Using an extraordinarily simple equation scientists described a cylinder which in theory is absolutely undetectable to magnetic fields from the outside, and maintains everything in its interior completely isolated from these fields as well.

The ferromagnet attracts magnetic field lines, the superconductor repels magnetic field lines and the superconductor-ferromagnetic bilayer cloaks a magnetic field. An object inside the cloak would be magnetically undetectable.

The superconductor layer of the cylinder prevents the magnetic field from reaching the interior, but distorts the external field and thus makes it detectable. To avoid detection, the ferromagnetic outer layer made of iron, nickel and chrome, produce the opposite effect. It attracts the magnetic field lines and compensates the distortion created by the superconductor, but without allowing the field to reach the interior. The global effect is a completely non-existent magnetic field inside the cylinder and absolutely no distortions in the magnetic field outside.

Is a big step foward, and as we all know, if this is what is public knowledge, what is secreted away in "their" bases, is years ahead of this.
