I awakened this morning, after a sound night's sleep, following a rather cathartic full Eíriú-Eolas meditation before bed. I grabbed a cup of coffee and headed off to check the email. Amazon, who keeps fastidious records of one's book buying habits, felt that I really needed to be aware of this great offer:
Hmmm, what a coincidence. I hit the link and found this bit of information:
This presumes that we all have shamans sleeping within us. "Hey! How'd you get in here?"
When I saw the Isis Cove Retreat center in North Carolina I immediately thought that this is in the heart of Vinnie's woo woo land. The red lights on my dash board began to flash.
I fired off the link to Laura, with some comments, to which she replied:
Typing "Linda Star Wolf Vincent Bridges" into scroogle pulled up a bounty of hits. Included in the menage are Jay Weidner, and a host of the other usual suspects. Using co-author Nicki Scully's name, with Vincent, in a search turns up more of the same. Thick as thieves.
Apparently someone would like to steal some Eíriú-Eolas thunder... and discounted 15% before it ever leaves the printer. Such a deal, eh? Wow! It even includes a 60 minute CD of "trance rhythms". How original. Would you like to trance?
I performed a forum search for any mention of these two co-authors before posting this. Nothing to be found. Odd that these two, with such long time associations with VB, et al, have managed to stay below the radar, here.

Product Description
Utilizing the healing power of breath to change consciousness. Incorporating psychospiritual tools with her Shamanic Breathwork practice, Linda Star Wolf shows how to spiritually journey in the same way shamans entrain to the rhythms of drums or rattles using the breath, either alone or together with music. Much like travelling to sacred places or ingesting entheogens, this practice can be used to enter altered states of consciousness, connect to cosmic consciousness, increase paranormal abilities and awaken the shaman within. Breathwork can also be used to resolve old traumas and shapeshift unproductive modes of thinking in order to move beyond them. Utilizing the healing power of breath along with chakra-attuned music, Linda Star Wolf explores the Five Cycles of Change - the Alchemical Map of Shamanic Consciousness - and how these cycles affect you as you move through major shifts in your life. Filled with personal stories and case histories, the book also includes a 60-minute CD of shamanic trance rhythms and a guided meditation to awaken the chakras during practice. · Explains how to enter altered states of consciousness, increase paranormal abilities, and resolve old traumas using breathwork · Introduces the Five Cycles of Change that bring about major life shifts and how to work with them · Includes a 60-minute CD of chakra-attuned rhythms to play during the journey
This presumes that we all have shamans sleeping within us. "Hey! How'd you get in here?"
