Sharing - Squirrels and Kittens!

I hope it's ok (and appropriate) to share some pictures I took - some of a squirrel in the cherry tree in our garden! And some of our new kitten Pete. I think all of my pictures are public and it's possible to navigate to my other pictures of our cats - again if this is inappropriate please edit/remove as necessary.

My intention is to share some joy with others - my cats especially bring me a lot of joy, and watching the squirrel leaping around the tree was a lot of fun! It was nice to see, and to contemplate that nature just carries on, despite the havoc humans wreak on it.

Also I feel the whole point in taking a photo, isn't just for your own benefit - but specifically to share that moment with others. I hope that seeing the antics of the squirrel brings a smile in these difficult times!

Thanks Soluna! those are nice pics. The beautiful face of the cat brings me joy too, and the squirrels are so funny that definitely is nice to see.

Here's a photo of a squirrel I took a few days ago on the grounds of Colorado College, Colorado Springs.

Hey Soluna, thanks for the sweet pics - I love squirrels since I was a kid. In the UK in the 60s there was a children's road safety club called The Tufty Club. Tufty was a huge anthropomorphized squirrel who taught us all how to cross the road safely. Two or three squirrels frequent the trees outside my window and I could watch them for hours! Squirrels and cats are my favourite animals.

Thanks for sharing these pictures Soluna! Squirrels & kittens put a smile on my face.

Once saw a squirrel who found refuge in a bin, it was the last place I thought I'd spot one.
