Shift Happens video

The Living Force
Since I can't think of where to put this, I'll situated it here.

I've received this in a email and it's called "Shift Happens."

---
It was a presentation at my work that speaks to the lightening speed at which knowledge and technology is changing these days and the United States is still holding on being the world's leader.

The music is called "Elk Hunt" from the movie The Last of the Mohicans.

It's an interesting video. I don't know what to think of it. They didn't provide data or research in the video, but it made such assumptions and predictions. Is any of it true?

Thoughts?

It is interesting. I enjoyed it.

It does come across as rather exaggerated and dramatic though.

Does China still have that law that allows one to only have one child? That still freaks me out 8|

In watching this video, I get the feeling of clever propaganda to get you thinking in a certain way, almost a red herring away from the programming, which is the key element with all that, wouldn't you agree? It seems true that things will be faster, but humans remain human unless controlled, which is also being left out it seems.

They leave the impression that everyone is getting smarter which may be false. Everyone may be getting more programmed might be a better phrasing. Just because we have access to more information does not necessarily designate a [shift explosion] or something enticed as a good thing. People are still people unless altered, which is probably the hidden intent.

They also seem to present in a way that says it is just another great movement in our evolution, and if we look at the record, such as the industrial revolution, etc., it hasn't been pretty.

The shift may be that you have finally been completely controlled and no longer are YOU in control and making the video out in the light of a big deal that seems exciting so you'll fall for the tech spin so to speak. Oh boy, a computer as smart as my brain, will I even need to think? It is also possible that computers will attempt to control us at some point in time.

I see it as dangerous and people will most likely misinterpret it as a good thing when in fact it may be just the opposite, and a pull or red herring away from objective reality.

It would be interesting to know the producer's true intent and agenda.

My question is So What? I get the impression we're supposed to be in awe of the information presented on this video; ie,the implication that things are actually getting-or going to get- better instead of worse, because of the advances in fiber-optics and technology in general, and all of the smart Chinese kids. Since when did a lot of honors students or more powerful computers guarantee a better world?
They're obviously being very selective, probably to promote a "ain't things wonderful" false and subjective perspective of reality. Seems more like a pathocrat's definition of "progress." :/

I was wondering about that. I think I would have to agree. When I received this video link in an email from a fellow co-worker who saw this video in the beginning of the presentation that she was involved in, and she loved it. When I saw it, I thought there was something 'fishy' about it. There wasn't enough facts behind it, or if facts were presented, the purpose of the video would be different than the facts would say.

You can say that again. If I tell the co-worker that this might be a fishy and untrue video, she would most likely to say "there's nothing bad about the video, I believe it's great." And, she would be 'hooked.'

Very much so. They always likely to present lies in the form of truth and the viewers would believe it (especially when their emotions are sky high, meaning "uplifted" and having a "sense of honor").

I had doubt about the video and wanted your thoughts. And, this presentation took place at a letter after "H," a letter after "A," and a letter after "L."
