Shkreli Charged in Securities Probe

Someone has been being very Naughty, apparently.

A seven-count indictment unsealed in Brooklyn federal court Thursday charged Shkreli with conspiracy to commit securities fraud, conspiracy to commit wire fraud and securities fraud. A second defendant, attorney Evan Greebel, of Scarsdale, New York, was charged with conspiracy to commit wire fraud. It was not immediately clear who will represent Greebel in court.

The indictment said the men, along with others, orchestrated three interrelated fraud schemes from September 2009 through September 2014. It said they fraudulently induced investors to invest in two separate funds and misappropriated the assets of a publicaly traded pharmaceutical company, Retrophine Inc., to satisfy Shkreli’s personal and unrelated professional debt obligations.

That's good to see. This guy is such a repulsive individual and while he looked like a psychopath already, the fact that he's getting arrested for fraud and that said fraud was to pay off personal debt, makes it look even more like he is.

I wish people could put 2 and 2 together and SEE that, this guy is basically the archetype of the pharmaceutical company.

He said it himself, his job isn't making patients better. It's making the most profit.

He has no care or concern for the lives he is putting on the lines. One of the things that was just so outrageous to me is when he tweeted, "lol" as a response to those who were criticizing him for the hike in pricing... He really summed it up for us with that.
