I was always curious and interested in the UFO/ET phenomenon since I was a child, but I always took the topic with a grain of salt. But after I saw what I saw, I suppose I became a "true believer." Anyway, enough fluff. Not much need to preach to the choir here.
On December 20th, 2006 at a few minutes before 3PM, I was standing outside smoking (naughty, naughty) whilst waiting for a doctor's appointment to commence. I was watching an interesting-looking, roughly circular cloud move across the sky with thin, wispy clouds trailing behind it, almost like a wake. While this unusual cloud was attracting my attention, all of a sudden a silvery metallic orb shot out from it and began to dance around in the sky. I am not particularly good at judging sizes of distant objects, but I would estimate this thing to have been 3-5 feet in diameter. The maneuvers and speed of this orb made it very apparent I was not seeing anything mundane. The experience only lasted for about 10 seconds, but it was the most intense, lucid, hyper-real 10 seconds of my life.
Now the question is: what was it? Furthermore, who made it and why did it appear to me? I have read that people who watch alleged "chemtrails" being formed sometimes see objects similar to the one I saw. Any opinions from knowledgeable folks would be greatly appreciated.
Also, I would like to add that I am new to this forum and I am smack dab in the middle of the first book in "The Wave" series. I have about 9 trillion other questions, so looks like I'll be knee-deep in this joint for a while. Cheers :D
