I thought I was about to read about a rewards program for smokers.....Frequent Smokers Points anyone?

I’ve also misunderstood the topic title 'Smoke Points anyone?’ when I first read it . I’m not good in English, so I’m a slow reader. Sometimes it takes some time for me to understand what is being discussed.
But if it were a rewards program for smokers I also would have liked to take part in it.

The funny thing is, English is my first language, I know what smoke points are, but I still read that title as having something to do with smoking, not fats. I actually didn't check the thread for quite awhile, assuming it wasn't something I'd be interested in (non-smoker, here). I think that, on this forum, we're all predisposed to the word "smoke" meaning one thing in particular. Maybe an example of "priming" from Thinking Fast and Slow.

lol! I'll be honest- I thought the same thing, and skipped over it until I read this thread. I'm obviously not much of a smoker, because when I saw that, I remembered back when I was a kid, the cigarette companies had points or "miles" or something, which you could redeem for merch. But, they stopped doing that years ago. Silly me!
