Sluggish or slow connections?

Seems that connecting to SOTT or Forum is getting
very slow connections? High number of users or something
else?

fyi, seems to work fine from sweden. Loads in under 2 sec.

Dant, I noticed some slow-downs lately, but as far as I remember they occur from time to time.

Yes, so it seems. I noticed it some time around 8/22/07 3:00 to 4:00 PM PST and
then both the SOTT/Forum shut down (Failed complete connection) for about 5-10
minutes around 9:00PM PST. But after than, it snapped back into action.

Today 8/23/07 6:30AM - Now (8:31AM) PST is working well.

It is 9:20AM PST, and clicking on the SOTT site line: "Fox Does Unto Iran As It Did Unto Iraq"
freezes up for several minutes before a page actually appears. So may the problem can be
narrowed down to the links? What gives?

I am gonna shut up about these little anomalies as they seem sporadic at best. Please excuse
me of my rants. Maybe I am getting a little too paranoid...
