Something had fallen in Mexico

Hi, I saw something falling, although it was later that I figured out it was falling. I usually step outside in the balcony at the morning to stare at the sky... and a trail got my attention, I could not pin point at first if it was going down or up, I thought it was an airplane (like those supersonic ones), but those usually fly too far up. The trail was quite thin and barely visible, and the curvature did seem right either, later I noticed in was coming down. And I went to get the camera, I took some photos.

The "something" that was falling, I think it might be a meteor, "disappear" behind the mountain, I did not hear any different sound from those I usually hear (trains, trucks, birds and did not saw any boom like explosion either, had not found yet if someone else in this city registered the event.

Edit: spelling and:

Sorry the photographs are too small, I will get bigger ones.

From what I understand the direction was south to north.

Edit 2: The more precise location would be, in the State of Mexico (near Mexico City) mixed urban-rural area.

Edit 3: tittle

Edit 4: deleted words and changed phptographs

Did you hear some kind of explosion? And did you check something about it on the news or with the neighbors?

No, I did not hear anything different from noises I usually hear every morning (traffic from trucks, trains, birds), it was around 8:40-8:50, moments before I went off to work, other neighbors left around that time too to work, although I had not asked them either.

Those little grey/black/white specks are doves.

I did checked on news on the internet (airplane, helicopter accidents and/or for videos in youtube) but nothing so far.

From google maps _http://maps.google.com/maps?q=Ceylan+Ixtacala,+Tlalnepantla,+M%C3%A9xico&hl=es&ie=UTF8&ll=19.518052,-99.229202&spn=0.172799,0.192947&sll=19.51967,-99.175644&sspn=0.345595,0.385895&oq=ceylan+ixtaca&t=h&hnear=Ceylan+Ixtacala,+Tlalnepantla,+Estado+de+M%C3%A9xico,+M%C3%A9xico&z=12

I was around where "A" is and the "something" that fall, was coming from south to north at the west in the map, in between the triangle formed in the map of the two 57 freeway signal and freeway signal 3. That's is where the mountains are, and probably about 10 km far from where the photo was taken. To me the trail ended behind the mountains.

Of curse, I may be wrong, I tend to get confused with open and wide dimensions.

Dividing the metropolitan area in 4, at least5 million of people are on this side, but I had not found any report yet, from the event on 11th of March, 2013.

It might be that, after viewing several meteor/trails videos, I may be seeing things when they are not. But I will put it here either way, I had seen the “short” trail in various videos, short: because it seems it appears from nowhere and it seems it disappears abruptly.

It was yesterday (Sunday 17th) around 7 pm, I was in another room and I was hearing the radio, not so loud though, I did not hear anything relevant, apart from the typical noises around here (trains and traffic trucks), I went to smoke a cigarette, -I usually smoke by the balcony- and it got my attention the colors from the sunset and … the trail, the first thing I thought: “another one???”, so I went to get the camera …

There is a plane, at the right side of the photo between the two parallel cables (although, in this resolution can't be seen it that much), it looks better in the second photograph (taken with a zoom). The photos were taken at the same spot, so I think the direction was from east to west.

So what would you think, could it be a trail from an airplane or a trail from a meteorite?

Edit: added second photo

it looks like a normal trail from an airplane to me! tought you can tell that now the trails are more visible than ever because of the cooling of the atmosphere! it tell us that atmosphere is changing a little bit!

Another something had fallen almost a couple of hours ago (8:10 pm approximately), sorry, I did not took the photograph rigthy, the below one is how it looked like. It was at north of Mexico City, perhaps someone else in future days may published a better image in the web.

I went to the roof to see the sunset, after a coupe of minutes I saw it far away, went back to the apartment for the camera, but it was almost dissipated when I took the photograph, took more, although this one was the "best".
