something is wrong on my sott page

?????Good Morning--Does anyone know why the SOTT homepage comes up fine on my computer but when I click on the the links they appear in some code all streamed together with triangles question marks letters and other symbols, no headlines or editing symbols present--nothing but a full screen of black and white code???

I know I just woke up but this is really happening and is weird because the home page and forum are working fine.

OK--now it is working fine. Weird. I am used to glitchy weirdness happening around me concerning mechanical and electrical things; I am one of those people who "machines hate me." But this incident this morning seemed particularly odd because it was only happening when I clicked on the links to the news stories- the rest of the page and the forum worked fine--and now it is better. Weird.

This same thing has happened to me intermittently for the past two days, as you have all posted about already. It has only happened when I have been trying to access SOTT news articles, and not when I have been in the forum. I found that just closing the window and trying again from another link or after a few minutes patiently waiting, it seemed to clear up on it's own. I'm glad I'm not the only one who experienced this. Does anyone have any ideas as to what's causing it?

Mr.Scott was doing some upgrade/maintenance to the servers over the last two days or so. As I understand it, maintenance/upgrades have been completed and you should not experience this issue again. If you do, please post it here again. :)

Thank you for clearing that up Vulcan, I'd also like to say a personal thank you for your work and efforts over the years. I haven't always been able to join in with the forum as much as I would have liked, but I have often benfitted from yours, among many's, sage advice and techincal wizadry any true Vulcan would be proud of :)
