something strange going on in the Forum ?

I don't know where to put it so I put it here.

I've noticed something when I go to "Who's Online" section
look at this screenshot I made today:

there are "7 Guest" that loged into the same thread in almost the same time (in this case the "Charlie Sheen and Cassiopaea..." thread).
I've noticed that before too. there it was the "Exposing Online Predators & Cyberpaths" thread
and I remember that I saw this several times were I don't remember anymore wich topic it was.

so the question is what is that ?
could it be that there are some Guest that log into a thread on the same time to see or make something?
or is it one Guest or one computer that is doing this and why?
or am I reading to much in it and it is something normal ?

It's impossible to tell, but it's not the first time it's happened.

There are any number of potential explanations, but at the end of the day, guests cannot view things they aren't supposed to be viewing. And they can't crash the server by viewing the same page 1 gajillion times, because they will be automatically banned.

So, I wouldn't worry about it. ;)

That's a possibility. From what I have seen so far of the new forum software (that they didn't release in May like they said they were going to!), it will actually keep track of what is a search crawler and what isn't. This version is kind of dumb in that department!
