Standing With Stones

The Living Force
This is a pretty amazing looking documentary, although i haven't seen it yet (gotta save up). The peoples who built them were truly awe inspiring. From the publishers site:
Standing With Stones is a feature length film that explores the standing stones and ancient megalithic heritage of the UK and Ireland. Over two years in the making, Standing with Stones was made by just two men with fantastic film making skills, a camper van and a passion for the monuments in stone left to us by Neolithic and Bronze Age ancestors.

The result is a remarkable feature length documentary film and a gorgeous coffee-table book that take the viewer on a journey of discovery, uncovering the true extent and variety of megalithic Britain and Ireland.

Know on their trailer, they have a computer generated reconstruction of one of the megaliths, i took a screen shot:

It reminded me alot of a microprocessor, although with different architecture, round Vs rectangular:

Know time for some good ol speculation. The C's have said that the megaliths were used to power all the accoutrements of civilization, and to provide all the things needful for existence. What would be the physics of such technology? keep in mind the microprocessor, which is what makes our technology possible. Neil Gershenfeld says that we will soon be able to program the physical world the same way we can program the digital world.

This i think is the physics that they were using, connecting their minds to huge computers, powered by cosmic energy, they created in the virtual space that is the mind, and brought their creation into the physical realm, by kind of pushing a button in their minds that said print, and then poof, definitely sounds like airy fairy stuff, but it is theoretically possible. Truly those guys & gals were freaking awesome.

Hi bngenoh. Interesting thoughts, kind of hard to get ones head around with ones mind so entrenched with separated technology. The documentary part (ireland) I watched was high quality and a pleasure to watch, good non assuming narration and questions. BTW they did a really clever salesmanship selling the film in 20 minute parts for small amount, willl surely be watching more when money arrives. Thanks for sharing.

You are welcome parallel,

Their salesmanship is really clever, but you can't blame them, tis high quality work. It just impresses upon me that what we have been told about our ancestors is BS.

BTW, i am saving up every little penny because i got a lot to do before i even watch this, so it will probably be a while before i enjoy it.(damn economic system :D)
