The Force is Strong With This One
If I may share a very vivid & strange dream. . . I went to a bar in Los Angeles with 2 male friends (I have never been to LA & don't ever go to bars!) The outside was run down & covered in graffiti, but inside was a round glass & chrome room with a curved bar area. I was given a small glass of bubbly, sweet liquid to drink; then I noticed the front section of the room was entirely open to a lovely scenic garden area. The night sky was deep black, with a clear view of the stars. I pointed out an odd cloud that was moving slowly above us, & noted several pearly spheres moving inside it. I stepped further out to see better, & I can only describe what happened next as a "curtain" which unrolled from the cloud; it seemed to consist of some wispy ectoplasmic stuff, with gaping holes in it.
I was fascintated; but then a strange little animal, like a hedgehog without prickles, ran down it towards me. I held out my hands & called, "Come, little creature!" It juped up onto my hand & bit my middle finger very badly; blood flowed freely. The animal tried to attack me several times after that, but I avoided it & finally crushed its head with a stone, then another, all the while apologising to it and sobbing.
Then I went back inside the room, where the bar was closing & only a few people remained, & showed them my hand. But there was no sign of my having been bitten. I became hysterical, & shouted, "Was it all for nothing that I killed that little creature?"
I have a feeling the dream is very symbolic of something, but cannot at all interpret it yet. It had a very "astral" feel to it - I awoke in horror & still do not feel quite myself. I'd appreciate any insights. . .
