Strange feeling during a dream

This morning, I have a strange feeling. Let me explain:

I was in a dream where I was scared and wanted to save me. Subsequently, I wake up and my eyes open, I find that I'm lying in my bed in my room. By against, I continue to hear the sounds in my mind that was in my dream and continues to scare me so I feel that my body wants to save, my legs and arms move but my EYES can see nothing so moving after I sreamed for get me out of trouble but my EYES will see that he's no movement of my mouth and no sound I hear for real. And my body continues to struggle and I see that I must go out of this prison (as if my body was paralyzed, but I felt in all the movement, weird. As a person who is trapped in his body), and after I was able to get out and move for real. Oufffff!!!!! :scared:

This strange feeling that is repeated at least three times, until I decided to turn in my bed and that this will stop.

It's hard to explain (especially in a language different to mine). My experience was as if I had a part of my consciousness in real life and the other part was taken in my dream. Is this possible?

Hi Sylvia,
Could it be that you are experiencing sleep paralysis? What you describe could be related. There are many discussions about it in the forum, for example here: https://cassiopaea.org/forum/index.php/topic,26269.0.html
Sleep paralysis often have such elements as confusion between being asleep or awake, a certain panic, the sensation of a presence in the room, etc. You may check if it is the case. Many members here stopped having these after diet adjustment and stress reduction, notably through the EE meditation program.

Thank you very much "mkrnhr". I never thought to search in Cassiopaea Forum with the word "Sleep paralysis".

So, I read the discussion you mentioned and I found answers to my experience.

Good night!!!
