Strange letters

I am still perusing literature and articles on the C site. I am able to relate to much of the material. My question is
In the early to mid eighties I received a letter
If memory serves it was from someone called the Humana Institute. The letterhead included the DaVinci drawing of the human figue outstretched in a circle.
The letter frightened me and I destroyed it, but it has haunted me ever since.
From memory, the gist of the letter went..
We know you and have been watching you since you were born. You have the ability to understand the laws of the universe and we invite you to join us. Also made reference that I could unlock the heavens to shower me with all that I wanted in life. The letter also seemed to know me even to what I thought.
Scared the hell out of me. I burned the letter because the day before it came I had a dream. In the dream, I was reaching into my mailbox but there was an overwhelming feeling that what was there, was Forbidden to me.
Has anyone else had this happen?

I've received similar sounding stuff in the mail in the past, although I don't remember anything from a Humana Institute. Sometimes I get a good laugh when I compare the 'personalization' of the letter to the bulk mail postage rate and the 'pre-sorted' notice.

Thank you for your reply. Perhaps I did put too much stock in it. At that time I was is my mid to late twenties and had just started to realize that there was a lot more going on in the world than I thought. It was also about that same time that I started my search to try to figure out what was going on.
I did think at that time that it might relate to the fact that a few months before I had sent my birth data in for an astrological chart and report. I guess that the dream connection is what spooked me. Good to know that it wasn't something unique to me.

I used to get a lot of those kinds of things because I was always buying stuff by mail and I guess I got on some kind of mailing list that got sold again and again. My favorites were the ones from psychics who told me all about some curse on me and for just 299. bux and a snip of my hair or a photo, they could remove the curse.

Lol..got some of those too..but much later after I finally went online. I had so many curses on me . I did not take them seriously.
I am currently on The Wave part 3 and I have read through adventures with the Cassiopaens. I now recognize that I may have some serious programming issues. I have been reflecting and detecting things that I was not aware of before. While I am unhappy that they are there, I am happy to be detecting them.
