A Disturbance in the Force
It looks like after many years of speculation and searching for the lost tomb of King Antiochus on Mt. Nemrut in Turkey, archaeologists have finally discovered it. Using ground penetrating radar and other electronic scans, the team was able to find a large pyramid shaped chamber inside the artificial hill that rests on top of the mountain. Excavations are currently being petitioned to the Turkish government to allow digging rights. The big question is will the tomb be in ruins like the statues and artifacts found on the outside of the artificial hill? Can't wait to find out.
