Stumbling into a Gurdjieff Group and his "Editor"

A few years ago I stumbled upon the editor of several of Gurdjieff's literary works who was also close to the lady who was taking care of G at his death. I met with the editor several times and even attended some of his weekly groups. I stepped away for my own reasons, much unrelated to what I observed with the editor and his work. But part of his work (here in Austin) was in organizing "work" days where people came together and did mundane physical labor and others played music and did the "movements". I'm curious if there are others in this forum who may have come across such. I'm just curious and wondering of the potential benefit or virtue - especially of the group movements. It reminded me a bit of the short streaming episodic called "OA" a few years ago (in some strange way - without the drama).

In other matters ...
Continuing to enjoy the breathing exercises and movements (EE Breathwork) patterns - which I still use from time to time - much thanks again to Laura and others here.

BTW - I post readings of Gurdjieff and others on my YouTube channel to aid and encourage others to deal with the ups and downs in life. My own experience with mis-diagnoses, whether C-PTSD or not, is hopefully encouraging to others to look within and follow a path ...

All the best.
