Sugar: The Bitter Truth

Robert H. Lustig, MD, UCSF Professor of Pediatrics in the Division of Endocrinology, explores the damage caused by sugary foods. He argues that fructose (too much) and fibre (not enough) appear to be cornerstones of the obesity epidemic through their effects on insulin.

It is a very informative and thorough lecture. He shows how Fructose is a poison and basically acts like "alcohol without the buzz". I learnt from this that there is an epidemic of obese six-month olds!

Its an hour and a half long but well worth the time.

I have to give this lecture 2 big thumbs up.
As important to watch as the lecture "The Oiling of America" and again evidence that we (as humanity) are deliberately being poisoned.
If John Yudkin (_http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Yudkin) had already figured it out and published a book about it in 1972 titled "Pure, White and Deadly" then the same forces oiling America were/are aware of the detrimental health effects of sugar.

This is a brilliant lecture for sharing with people that are interested in health or weight loss but haven't yet become serious about changing their habits. It is very hard hitting and much easier than buying and reading a book
