Jedi Master
Dark Journalist imo has been very successful in this format with a moderator (Olivia the wing girl)
asking the questions as they come in .. ( or a taped show with questions sent in ahead would be OK too! )
I am still on the fence about him ( also known as D J )
but he seems too be pretty well read in certain topics (The X series or X files ?)
and secret mystery schools ...

Live video streams are possible, but only at lower quality. We don't have adequate upstream bandwidth to go all super-fancy.

YT live requires high upstream b/w because you are essentially sending the video to YT, YT resends it, and then when done, it just takes the recorded vid and publishes it as a new (high-res) video. That's nice, but only if you have something like fiber internet.

YT live broadcasts are also kind of pointless because the chat either turns into a trollfest, or there are so many comments flying up on the screen that you can't read any of them.

Plus, for SOTT, we'll be ditching live radio shows in the near future. When 50-70 people are around to live listen and 8k people watch after the fact, it's pretty clear that there's not much point in doing live stuff due to time differences, busy schedules, etc. There are also other technical considerations which are a very large factor these days. On the plus side, hopefully that will mean more pre-recorded video!

We can easily have a thread here where people can ask questions, and those questions can help inspire future episodes of Laura TV! ;-D

I totally agree with that.

OK sigh ...

I enjoy and find value in reading and re-reading the C's sessions as much for what the C's answer as the conversations and discussions that take place leading up to direct questions to the C's. It would be cool to have a round table type of discussion, just without the C's, on 'Laura TV' ;-).
