I am curious to know if anyone has seen this movie and what you thought of it.

The movie is a dark comedy starring Rainn Wilson, a well intentioned fry cook who loses his wife (Live Tyler) to a psychopathic drug dealer (Kevin Bacon) who leads her back into drugs and prostitutes her to seal his drug deals. Vowing to save her and win her back, he decides to take on a superhero persona (the Crimson Bolt) to fight evil. He gets help from a comic book store worker (Ellen Page) who becomes his sidekick in training and gains inspiration from a t.v. evangelical superhero named the Holy Avenger.
His motto is "Shut up crime!" and his rules include:
1. Don't steal
2. Don't sell drugs
3. Don't molest kids
4. Don't cut in line
The movie definitely has some dark moments and some over the top (IMO) violence, and I have to say, after I first saw it I wasn't quite sure what to think. But when I watched it again, I found myself really liking this movie. The inner struggles of Rainn Wilson are similar to those found in V for Vendetta or Batman, the Dark Knight in that they depict an ordinary man fighting back against the injustices they have experienced (and evil in general) in the only way they know how.
Anyway, I have found myself defending this movie to some of my friends and I am curious to know what y'all think.
