I am reading her book "Holding My Hand Through Hell " ( http://www.amazon.com/Holding-My-Hand-Through-Hell/dp/1888160675/ref=cm_cr_pr_pb_t) and I just can not read more than a chapter at time since it is so painful to read her story.

And I have just learnt that she passed away a couple of days ago. :(

Just reading about the story of the book give me shivers. Do you recommend this book? It is as hard to read has the story of Dutroux? It was a very difficult experience to read the story of Dutroux but I think very important and after reading it I felt a little more strong, my eyes a little more open. But I had the forum here to share it, so this is important also.

Some people are very strong and even if they suffer they are able to give in a book or in an article a huge, huge lesson.

I cannot say that I recommend this book but It might help some people to understand psychopathy in action and what it can do when the psychopath is a police officer.

Susan was stronger after leaving her progenitor (she calls him her father in her book but for me he was not a father but just the progenitor.) but her life has never been a joyful one. How could it be ?

Thank you Gandalf for taking your time to answer. Maybe one day I will read this book. It is very sad that this woman is dead now, after all her sufferance.
