Syria Chemical Attacks

I caught the back end of this story as I was leaving work.

As you can see, this is headline news for the BBC today. Emergency UN security council session is currently in progress if you go by the time.

So far the reporters are not flat out saying the syrian army is responsible but are laying the seeds that they may be. The tone is "wait until it's verified, if it is verified then Obama must do something as he said back in May that chemical weapons would be a 'game changer'"

One thing that also caught my attention with the reporting was the reporters would always say,

"As you can see many are injured, including children"

Over and over again, they are saying this, highlighting children are also injured.

Is this an emotional hook? It is like they are reading from a script and have been told to emphasize the last point.

Yeah, they tried it before. In any chemical weapon attack claim, this angle should always be looked into first.

You called it and it appears it has happened. It's only a matter of time before it's verified that the attack was indeed a chemical weapon attack then the game of who is responsible begins. It does help that the UN weapons inspectors are ALREADY in the country since sunday.

From the BBC link

United Nations chemical weapons inspectors arrived in Syria on Sunday with a mandate to investigate three locations where chemical weapons were allegedly used, including the northern town of Khan al-Assal, where some 26 people were killed in March.[/b]

What amazing timing?

It is always the same sick game/card for those psychopaths, isn't it?
I hope the public will not again buy into that nonsense...

I've been on a terrible youtube video binge about stuff from ISON to whatever. God, that place is a cesspit.

Anyways, this guy connects the Ed Snowden case to what is happening in Syria now. All the way from back in July. The premise is that the Ed Snowden hype by the media was meant as a distraction from the moves that were going on in Syria that are culminating in what we see now. He goes further to say Iran will be impacted greatly and that whatever happens, it won't be the same scenario as iraq and Afghanistan.

Today the propaganda against Assad was too much. It was almost scandalous. I don't have a tv so I base my opinion from radio. I think that they will invade Syria very soon, now it is for them the good time, they are preparing the public opinion, and very soon the actors will play their massacre role. They interviewed a university specialist on the Arab World that was very hard, too hard, like a crazy man. Words like genocide, devil, monster were pronounced. War for him was necessary and his discourse was very bellicose. Between his lies about Syria nowadays he said that many countries, Israel included, wanted the disappearance of Syria. He thought that the war will last 2, 3 days. I said, it was scandalous to hear this man talk, like that, on the radio. But he has a role, he is an actor in this big chess game, this tragedy that will happen, this piece of theater, this drama. The radio also has his role. Everything is put in place. Very soon the light will go on and the show will start.

The things they say about Assad are scandalous, I very much agree. This is a tremendously tragic situation the Syrians find themselves in.
The only thing I can do is post articles on FB and on a news site which contain different information. I read the comments on a Dutch news site on a regular basis and if it is appropriate I post some of the SOTT articles. I did find it a tiny bit hopeful that some do see through the lies, maybe not all, but it is a start.

I too am obviously following it very closely - the blatant lies are deplorable I agree. I just pray that Assad's allies will rally around him, though there is not much other than disapproval so far osit. Total disregard for Security council and everything else that was ever set in place - as usual.

I notice that Downing Street and France etc can act without the approval of government and that the timing is during the government recess. No surprises there.

I am sure this will be the most horrendous massacre and every lethal weapon or chemical will be let loose. I am so sad for such innocent people in each dispicable act perpetrated by these blood thirsty greedy monsters.

No doubt about getting the fall-out here in Cyprus either as things escalate. Diet and EE! Hope the net doesn't go down.
