Tab browsing issue

I use Firefox with tabs. My setting is that all links open in new tabs. This works well with the forum as long as I am not logged in. As soon as I am logged in the board and thread titles open in a new tab and additionally also in the same window. Is this a bug or a feature?

To avoid this, just right-click with your mouse and select Open Link in New Tab.

I have that same issue also in Safari from time to time. It only happens occasionally.
