Taoist medicine - stretching and slapping the body

These techniques are easy and can be done at home. The aim is to activate the body's self healing systems:

Slapping and stretching to activate your immune system – demo in the video, starts at minute 18.00.

Stretching – used for pain problems, stiff joints, and also for women problems, constipation, BP, insomnia, prostate problems.
Aline 2 chairs against the wall, put one leg up and the other bent on the floor. Stretch your hand behind your head. This will activate all meridians - stay there for 5-10 minutes and gradually increase the interval as to remove obstructions to the free flow of energy.

Slapping – start with your joints first . Slap the inner part of the elbow joint – that's where negative energies are stored concerning the heart meridian (also pericard, lung and small intestine meridian). If, after a few minutes of forceful slapping the skin gets very red and bluish dots surface, the veins start to protrude – it's a sign that you have accumulation of toxins in these channels which could be removed from the blood and lymph (the yin system) when the yang gets stronger and moves the blood and lymph.
Slap the dorsal part of the hands for constipation.
Slap your knees front-lateral-back for joint mobility and ease (meridians activated this way: stomach, spleen, liver, gall bladder, urinary bladder, kidney).

Slapping the hands and feet you activate the ends (or the beginnings) of all the meridians
This way you can activate a whole body defensive and healing system.

But, you can also add here what we have already learned:
Proceed with care, don't overdue it, give the body time to get reed of toxins (protecting the liver and kidneys as we did in the iodine protocol – chlorella, milk thistle, etc…).
Get both the AM and PM sunshine, get grounded to the earth (walk barefooted for short periods in the wet grass), drink lightly salted water.

I've already seen somewhere more explanation on slapping but I couldn't find it yet. I'll keep trying.
