Hi all,

Just dig into your memory and try to answer the question : they were 5 or 6 ? In fact, I thought they were 4 ... but 6, nooooo !
The question was raised by a french youtuber, just watched a video he made about, and i think he exposes here what the C's explained in various sessions about merge of realities.
Here's the link :

One of the best argument he gives is that many popular imitations of the band are performed with 5 people, not 6.

Funny fact, a nice matrix bug no ?

Yep, that is a likely reason why some people remember it wrongly. So, I don't think it has anything to do with a "reality merge", a "matrix bug" or any "mandela effect". As Joe said:

Some would call that the 'Mandela effect'. Others, like you, would say that human beings don't have very good memories, mainly because we selectively read and view things all the time. It's strange how few people are willing to accept this pretty self-evident fact.

The "mandela effect" is bad memory.

Do you think it's always the case ? bad memory ? What do you remember about ?
Just talked to my great brother, ok, it's just 1 testimony, but he remembers they were 5, and it's visibly the case for many people. Giving a name is a detail (i mean call it mandela effect or whatever is of less importance).
I read similar topics/story in the C's material (whether here on the forum or in the books) but can't remember where, and here we have a great example, that's why i'm astonished by your first answer Pashalis !?

YMCA has 4 letters in it so it would make sense that a person might think there was a band member for each letter because the dance involves spelling out the letters with your arms.

Sheesh - anybody can google the image of the old album covers and see who is on there - or find a youtube video of the Village People on Ed Sullivan or maybe the Dick Clark show. Don't count out "bad research" as another cause of the Mandala Effect.

This is the principle, once the past is changed, all such details are also changed with, but not the memory of people. I think what Joe said is true in the majority of the cases that are "found" (or suspected), but some of them are true, or at least this is what I think, and I think that here we have a true example. But we are all ok to say that it's just a "funny topic to discuss about" and this will not change our lives, I'll enquire, from time to time, with my relatives about, ... to be continued ^^

Personally I remember having seen this character of the soldier at the time, afterwards it is possible that the group was sometimes not complete, which would explain the blanks of memory of the old ones 😁 ... But I remember him ! 😉
